That's Not The Only Thing You're Too Old For

It is a fight for the death. Not only is most of the Survey Corps wiped out, but they few remaining are surrounded by titans. The survivors are all running out of gas too quickly, and it doesn't look like there will be refills anytime soon.

Among the survivors is Levi, Eren, and a cadet whom was so bad, Levi hadn't even bothered to properly remember the name. Diet? Dirt? Something like that. Levi watches the titans clawing at the building, watching as the buildings bricks begin to crank under the pressure.

To his left a few buildings down is his beloved Eren. Against his luck, a titan taller than the building forces it's way through the smaller titans. It's eyes set on Eren and Eren alone. Levi's heart starts to pound harder.

On the building directly behind him is the bad cadet. He shouts, tears streaming down his face. He is out if blades, no doubt wasted them all. It looks like he's pissed himself too.

But Levi's attention is pulled to Eren. The Titan is within range to swat at Eren, and that's exactly what it does. It rears back it's giant hand, palm open, and smacks Eren. The force sends him crashing into the roof of the house behind it. His back hits hard enough to dent the roof, and the area around him starts to crumble.

But so is Levi's. Without giving it a second thought, he uses the last of his gas to come to his loves rescue. As soon as he's close enough, he starts to help Eren up and to a safer part of the roof, inspecting his wounds as they go, even though Levi knows they will heal in the matter of minutes.

Eren fusses, but Levi makes certain. Levi let's out a sigh in relief, "I'm getting too old for this," he says to Eren, his heart having momentarily stopped. The vision of Eren going down replays, but it is interrupted by an odd sound.… yelling?

Grisha Jaegar decends from crystal blue sky on a Titan constructed parachute. "THAT'S NOT THE ONLY THING YOU'RE TOO OLD FOR!" he screeches, his face red with fury.
