POV: Welsknight (3rd person)
Doo doo doo doo, building my farm. Wels sang in his head, "I wonder where Hels is..." He mumbled, "After all, I have no idea how much he knows about this wo-"

A sudden pain knocked the air out of Wels, causing him to collapse onto the ground, shaking.

Welsknight was in agony, it hurt to breathe or even think!

POV Switch to: Welsknight (1st person)

Fire, fire. Something about fire...
Smoke is rising up in the air, people are coughing while trying to escape the suffocating gas. A blaze appeared and spit fires, one hit me- well it looked like me but I realized it was a mirror with Helsknight's reflection.
"Tk ff yr rmr nd Hold these"

"What?" I tried to speak through the pain. What kind of gibberish even was that? As I questioned the events that could've led me here, the blaze's fire turned into two blaze rods. Okay, that makes sense... Again, it really didn't but it at least made more sense than the gibberish that followed
All he could understand was
"Hurt," "not my fault," and...what? "May the fire of" blank "burn within them?" What does that mean?

(Our knight boi is oblivious everyone-)
(September 20th editor Helen here. Jeez, 8 months ago me was way more of a cringy writer than me now, at least I think so...anyway continuing the story!-)
~~~~~~~
Wels woke up to some sort of yelling? He was barely conscious so he couldn't make anything out but it sounded like a Hermit yelling and shouting for...help maybe?
Wels could barely hear anything now, slipping right back into a dreamless sleep..
POV-Not Welsknight
The sounds of swords clashing and audiences cheering filled the Nether, the Yearly Combat League was in full swing...
Honestly I'm surprised that there was even any structure or rules, considering that almost no one followed anything that was above necessary but, here I am somehow gaining the favor of the audience and simultaneously staying in the rules.
You also can't forget about the fact that I'm climbing the ranks, fast. Last week, I was a Quartz rank, now I'm all the way up to a Blaze Rod. (See 'things you should know' for the rankings)
At first I got a lot of hate, following the rules and not using a golden sword like literally everyone else.
But then the people in charge learned that I "had access to" a way more powerful material than their standard gold and quartz... Truth is, you don't- or can't - find it, but you can find the thing that makes it.
Wayyy underground and it's never exposed! You have to dig for it, then you take a container -Lava proof if possible- and dip that bad boy into the nearest lake, but you're still not done. After you melt away the trash, you find some hard-Ass metal-ish thing
Anyway...
You combine four of those with four ingots of gold and then you get ONE of the special bars used to make my sword,
I tried using a gold sword and melting the beautiful black ingot to make a covering for it but that didn't work...
So I went out hunting. Hunting for eight of the base materials I needed to forge a blade of pure, untainted Netherite
~•[•]•~
Hi this is editor Helen from September 20th 2021, I'm moving backwards and editing this book's chapters to have less plot-holes and overall better writing. Previously, "Pure, Untainted Netherite" was written as the gibberish seen below
