"What do you think about the bubbles now?"
Akutagawa turned to Ryuji—who only grew larger and angrier with every passing second. He used Rashomon to try and cut through Ryuji, but this only ended up in failure as Ryuji would just bind back together as more water came pouring out. He ended up dropping (Y/n) and Kunikida, causing them to fall hard onto the ground.
Kunikida slid over to (Y/n), propping her up as she held her very injured shoulder. She let out a low groan, pointing to Akutagawa as she gained Ryuji's attention once again.
"Ryuji—coil and twist," she commanded in a low tone, Ryuji doing just that.
He slid his watery, somewhat scaley body around Akutagawa. He coiled around, twisting Akutagawa slightly through the puddle.
(Y/n) turned to Kunikida, who pulled out a stun gun. He looked to her briefly, (Y/n) nodding as she knew what he planned to do. She quietly told him as he turned it on, "I'll just give Ryuji some ice chips as an apology later."
"You better do more than that after this," Kunikida responded, shooting the gun at the water.
Electricity crackled throughout it, shocking Akutagawa and Ryuji. (Y/n) yelled as the gun started to power down, "Ryuji—I lay you to rest!"
Ryuji fell into the puddle as Akutagawa fell to his knees, breathing heavily and coughing violently once in a while. Steam and white smoke floated off of his body after the attack.
"Heh-heh... Ah-ha-ha-ha!" He began to laugh, wildly confusing the two detectives as he did so.
He was literally twisted like a pretzel and then electrocuted... (Y/n) thought as Kunikida stood up, stepping in front of her and putting his hand out in a protective manner. How is he still able to move?
"Looks like I was wrong about the Armed Detective Agency. Heh. This is wonderful. Truly wonderful."
Kunikida pulled out his notebook once again. "... Come at me if you want to keep going. I still have plenty more paper left."
"By all means, I would love the opportunity to see whether you have what it takes to kill me, but it seems we have guests." Akutagawa turned towards the entrance of the building, sirens following the three's gaze. "A pathetic traitor won't be able to hide for long before we hunt him down. I will withdraw for today. We'll continue this soon."
He turned away, coughing again as he made his way towards the exit. Kunikida let out a sigh as he watched Akutagawa leave, turning back to (Y/n) and helping her to her feet. She leaned against Kunikida, who acted as her crutch, as the pain in her knee almost became unbearable.
"One more thing," Akutagawa stopped before he left, turning back to (Y/n), "(Y/n) (L/n), you will face against the Port Mafia again. But it won't be me next time."
He then left—vanishing into the harbor.
(Y/n)'s shoulders heaved up and down with her heavy breaths, tired from her injury and attempting to work with Ryuji in such a short amount of time. She knew he was going to be very pissy later after pulling that stunt—and she was not looking forward to it.
"What do you think he means by that, (Y/n)?" Kunikida asked (Y/n), turning towards her.
She shook her head. "I have no idea. I don't think I want to know either."
