It did not take a while before Rose started being jealous of Scarlett. She saw how beautiful she was.Rose wanted that gown but sadly she was stuck with me.My hum.My song.My Rose. The gown was too pricey to accord my hum and I ain't talking matters bills.
I had drawn, sketched and painted what I saw and even my hand could not master the precision that my vision entailed.I was growing restless as I tried to put all emotion there was into my eighth script.
Why was I not getting it right!Scarlett would not be happy if I failed her for the umpteenth time. Her glory, her beauty deserved more than I could give.
I felt sad then I felt angry.I had not asked for any of this and frankly I wondered how much more my brain would absorb till I combusted.Fiery red heads
Hot furnaces
And burned up noodles
A brainMy door cracked open and I hurriedly tried hiding the scattered drawings only to be met by curious intruders.
"What is going on here?"One of the guards asked me.
What the hell were the doing here? What gave them the right to budge in like they owned the place? Okay, they did own the place but why the intrusion?
Oh right! I was crazy and that sure explained alot-jerks."You have a visitor."They said those treacherous words, their eyes never leaving my drawings.
What! I am no fun of red just a certain none faced girl who seemed to exude of it.Scarlett, her highness of redness city
Actually, I abhorred red.I was stalling.I knew I was. Why? Because they said the forbidden word in my mental dictionary.
"Visitor you say."
What heights of insolence to mister time and M.
I had no one to visit me so they definitely had the wrong room
"You must be mistaken."
Shaking their heads and assuming it was one of those bouts of my craziness, they dragged me to see that awful visitor.
Bitter? No, I was just intrigued and merely annoyed. Was it so hard for this lady called peace to grace my awfully turbulent mind?Loud horses?
Horses allowed
Brayin' donkeys?
Still allowed Peasant!
How about seahorses?
Wake up kid!
And who says I am a kid...I kept my mind busy by replaying the exotic shades of red that only Scarlett could pull off.My once soft spoken Rose was growling in my head and frankly she was one noisy gong. What a jealous girl!
What if I asked Rose to be my girlfriend? Would she stop all this green menance? She purred as she batted her long eyelashes at me.Gross! Was that supposed to make me swoon Rose? She winked.I gagged.Despite I prolonging the life of my Rose,I knew she existed not.
My brain gave her life and it was so sad that it was unable to give her a body.Maybe then I could have swept her off her feet and get her breeding like some bunny and we would enjoy margaritas in Malibu.
Wishful thinking.
Oh Rose.A fragment of my brain is what you are.A beating part with a never ceasing pulse.Till when?I wondered and Rose never hesitated to answer.
Eons of time.°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
White as snow
Black as coal
A crow
Servant to bothJohn White was suffocating.Air was being punched out of his lungs continuously as the walls caved in tauntingly. The perspiration on his back was evident and so was the defeat in his eyes.
A mistake could be tolerated even forgiven but not when that mistake was downtrodden and repetitively shooed away like it was non existent. What did he expect? Forgiveness.
That was just too big of a bargain.Blood gave no right to his kind of presumptuousness. The man was taking it too far the moment he decided to step foot in the asylum.Wedding bells
Annoying alarms
Call rings
Man wailing
Man tossed awayTime was revenging as he dragged the seconds by prolonging each one of them in a grand move to prove a certain point-he was pissed.Placing himself between John White and the son,he acted as referee between sworn enemies. However, the seconds would pass and the game would begin.
John saw loved ones hugging their mental counterparts. He saw others scowling at them.He saw others laughing like it was a normal day and then he saw a man being escorted in.
A man whose eyes seemed so distant.
A man who felt out of place.
A man whose face he would dare not describe-a boy turned man.Their eyes did meet and the man showed nothing.John White was not so white after all.
Eyes, show me just one more time.

I counted the stains on the wall. The fluorescent lights that were just beaming.I concentratred on the hypnotic sway of the fan.Left, right then left again.
The distant voices could not get in the way of my space travel.Rose and I were ball dancing in outer space. She was giggling as I engaged her in a waltz.Martians dared not bother us as we danced from galaxy to galaxy.Time froze and Rose was getting cold.I gave Rose my jacket and bared the stinging cold.Damned be some traditions!
My hum had the most beautiful eyes which drew me in as if sucking on my very existence. How could I even begrudge her my coat?Such a manipulative woman Rose was.
The clock did strike midnight and the spell was broken. The neon lights grew dimmer as the harsh world welcomed me with a wicked laughter.Taunting and daunting me to touch its glorious flame and I as M touched it not.
Anyway, visiting time was over and the guards did escort me back to my haven.
I handled it perfectly right?
What happened between John White and I?M does not want to talk about it.
