ALEXIA

I was already in the system but something wasn't right, instead of security footage and details of Hardy Mall, the screen was filled with fucking blue prints and codes.

I've hacked the wrong system manager.

If the creators of the system was using blueprints then the information under it was definitely as precious as life.

How could I have made a mistake? Hacking has been my mother fucking specialty for over seven years.

I can be considered professional but well, I do it for fun and look into stupid things like the security footage of a shitty mall just to know what my ex-boyfriend has been up to.

Pathetic right? But on the plus side, it keeps me occupied and I have the silent kind of skills and tactics that make me untraceable or even unworthy of making any mistake, which is why I sat there staring at the dull screen dumbfounded.

How could the codes meant for the security system of a mall as small as Hardy Mall lead to blueprints.

Don't get yourself involved.

My inner voice tried to warn me but it was as pointless as trying to tell a child ice cream is not good for them.

We all know what I did.

Yes, in my twisted kind of way, I managed to get into the blueprints and access the hidden information. The blueprints were soon replaced with words and tabloids.

Only four words captured my eyes first as they were in bold.

'The Great Italian Mafia'.

I scrolled down the page making sure I read every detail carefully. To say, I was awestruck would be an understatement.

Scrolling deeper into the information felt like I was falling into a deep dark hole where I would never be able to crawl myself out.

I would have stopped honestly but you can't blame my soul for being curious, so I continued.

I got to the last part, and there was a link of a site of some sort. I clicked it and the screen turned black immediately before automatically going back to desktop.

Well shoot!

This meant only one thing, the creators of the site knew someone was in getting in and decided to take it down immediately.

Not wanting any more trouble, I logged out of the computer and rushed out of the public cyber without looking back.

Let's just say I got myself in too deep.

Thoughts on chapter one? I hope it was interesting, and you enjoyed.

Love, Tracy:)
