"Hey, good morni-"
"Shhh. She's still sleeping."
"Sorry"
A hushed conversation slowly wakes me but also makes me increasingly aware of a dull headache growing steadily. Opening my eyes, I'm so grateful that the blinds on the windows were closed and the room was dimmed but something wasn't right. The sheets I was buried into didn't smell familiar and this pillow was harder than my own. I had to think about it for a second, the headache not helping my trail of thought but I then realised a few things all at once. One, there are two people in the room with me, two, this is not my room, and three there was a long mass holding me to the bed.
Bolting up, or attempting to with the best of my ability with an arm around me, I try to recognise my surroundings and it looks vaguely familiar but not enough for comfort. I also manage to catch the eyes of two people, one laying by my side, arm draped over my legs, and the other standing by what seemed to be the entrance of the room. My mind was racing, trying to figure out who they were when they slowly approached me, one from the space on the bed they occupied and one that was standing at the doorway.
"Naila. Its okay. You're just at our place," the one laying beside me lightly touched my shoulder. I flinched and shut my eyes. For a second I was bracing myself for something? I didnt know for sure what but I realised they knew my name. Opening my eyes and blinking a couple of times to clear the blurriness away, I see a very worried looking Mikael and Ian.
Staring at them for a couple of seconds I realise the situation I'm in and rush to blurt out an apology but also wanting an explanation not remembering much through the headache and the confusion first thing in the morning. Before I could talk Ian decided to try to calm me down though it wasn't really needed.
"Hey Naila, dont worry, you're at our place," Ian repeated what Mikael had said, probably to make sure I heard. "Last night you fell asleep on Mikael and we couldnt wake you up. We told Fayre by the way and knows you're fine. Here," Ian handed me the Advil bottle that I kept my bag. "She said to give this to you when you woke; she said you'd have a headache."
Opening up the bottle and popping a couple of pills into my mouth, Mikael handed me a glass of water that was on the nightstand.
Gulping down the water I realised that my throat was really dry and was grateful to whoever prepared that for me. Setting the glass back down, I looked at both men.
"Guys, thank you for taking care of me but why am I here? Why couldn't you guys have dropped me off at home?" I was so confused because I was so sure that Orion was home in case me or Fayre needed to get in or something.
"Orion ended up having to take Fayre home and suggested that you might not wanna be there for the night..." Ian trailed off a little, his eyes not reaching my own.
"Yeah, he said that Fay might get a little loud," Winking at me, Mikael and smirked at the shiver of disgust that coursed through my body, knowing exactly what they were talking about.
"Well thank you for sparing me of that, though I'm still confused. Why was I sleeping with him?" I pointed to the still smirking Mikael, as I questioned the still standing man in front of me.
"You actually refused to let go of him once you fell asleep. We stayed at the party for a while but decided to go home. Even on the ride here you were clinging onto his arm. He had to carry you out of the car, it was amusing to watch, you didn't let go when he tried to put you on the bed so he just gave up. Allegra changed you by the way; her own clothes. They seem to fit nicely." My eyes widened and I felt my face heat up. I hadnt noticed that I wasn't wearing my clothes from the night before. Allegra had changed me into some grey joggers and a long sleeve black t-shirt, to which I was so grateful but she had probably seen.
"I'm so sorry, I swear that I didnt mean to trouble you guys."
"Hey teddy, it's okay. Don't worry about it, it's no trouble. I found it as funny the rest did. You were so cute I couldn't bear to leave you. You kept making these adorable whiny noises whenever I pulled away."
I groaned and flopped back onto the bed and shoved my head into the pillows listening to both men laugh at my reaction.
"Aww it's okay little Naila. No harm done, you were just like a teddy bear all cuddly and soft-"
"As amusing as this is, you should stop teasing her Mikael, she seems very embarrassed," I groaned again and glared at Ian to which he just smiled. "Anyways, I came up here to tell you breakfast is ready and everyone is waiting for us, that is, if you're willing to join us."
I bolted up out of bed not wanting to keep them waiting, Ive been a hassle as it is. Reaching the door, I turned to look at the guys who watched me, not moving.
"Oh my goodness, come on! We've been keeping them waiting!" I went back and grabbed the hands of both, pulling Mikael out of the bed and dragged them downstairs ignoring the indignant noises and laughing from both boys.
It must've been an odd sight, seeing a small girl dragging down two guys who were at least half a head taller than her, down the stairs, nearly tripping every other step, but I couldn't care less form the delicious smell of pancakes and sausage wafted through the air. I guess that's why everyone in the kitchen bursted out laughing at the sight, though some were a bit more restrained than others.
"Well good morning you guys," Mako was sitting at the bar with a cup of coffee in his hands, Allegra next to him with a glass orange juice in front of her, looking up from her phone. Eliza was standing in front of the oven, frying some eggs, plates of different foods to the side.
Mikael and I greeted the three back and I let the two males go. Being freed from my grip, Mikael and Ian join the two on the bar, to my surprise, Mikael kisses both Mako and Allegra on the cheek or temple. Though confused I let it go, knowing it wasnt my business. Coming up to the female cooking I watch her moving comfortably, fluidly, apparent that she is very relaxed in the space shes in.
I know that offering my assistance would show that I don't hold any grudge against Eliza but at the same time I feel like I might pose as a nuisance.
Figuring it wouldnt hurt to ask, I tap Eliza's shoulder gaining her attention. She turns around, her expression should obvious surprise which melts to joy.
"What can I do for you Naila?" she questioned.
"Do you need any help? You know, with cooking or cleaning? I don't want to seem like I'm taking advantage of your guys hospitality," I looked down at the slightly too long sleeves I was fiddling with.
"Aww Naila, thank you so much for the offer, you're so sweet. I'm nearly done with everything but could you and Mikael make the table? I don't trust him to do it by himself," She sighed and directed an intense glare at said male.
Mikael glanced up at the sound of his name but looked shocked at the look given to him.
"Hey! It wasnt my fault I didnt happen to see Ians lego pieces on the ground! That stuff hurts you know!" He cried out indignantly which drew a giggle out of me which I tried to suppress but was heard. "It's not funny Naila!"
Pouting Mikael sunk down into his chair, arms across his chest to which everyone began to mock coddle him, teasing him about being a big baby and saying how cute he is. And so, this is how my morning was spent, food, stories and a lot of teasing.

A/N: Heyo! Welp, its Naila's first night over. If it were me, I'd be scared as heck but I guess she's just a more sociable mood and has gotten out of her shell a little more. I'm so proud! My baby's growing up!
If you have any suggestions to make my writing better in any way, please do comment and tell me, it would be very much appreciated.
Thank you so much for reading!
