NOTE: I just want to give a special thanks to Nohemimarioni for helping me with the picture for this chapter! And sorry if this chapter is a little short. There is going to be a big time skip for the next chapter! Enjoy and Vote!

Almost 2 month since Lucas left and I started my training. Raven had turned the basement into a training / gym area.  Blue mates covered the floor as we worked on my agility.  I needed to be fast if I had a chance, I knew I wouldn't be as fast as them seeing that they were supernatural. But being faster than they expect is an advantage for me.  When we first started it was to build my strength and stamina.  Today I was excited because we would start with weapons.

"Pay attention Rose, that's the third time I put you on your ass in less than 30 minutes."

I grumbled as I stoop up "WELL MAYBE IF YOU WEREN'T TRYING TO FIGHT ME LIKE I WAS A GROWN MAN" I shout frustrated

"I'm fighting you like I was one of them. They won't care that you're not a man. They will take you down and kill you.  Simple."

"I KNOW, I KNOW"

Raven and I had become very close in the passing months.  He was like the older brother I never had, teaching me and listening when I needed.  Ever since Lucas left I began to have terrible nightmares, of my sister's death and of mine.  I would be running through the woods rain pouring down on me then I'm met with that women and she holds my sisters head in her hands laughing.  I turn to run the other way only to be met with another pair of red eyes.  Constantine. He graves me by the throat lifting me off my feet, I try to kick and scream.  But it always ends the same, him plunging his disgusting fangs into me and everything going black as I wake up from the nightmare. Raven was there for me most nights when he didn't have business to attend to, he would even lie on the floor next to my bed so I could get a good night's sleep. I felt a little bad sometimes, I was pushed on to him, and I felt like a burden to everyone.

"OKAY why don't we start the weapons? Here take this." he took a long sword from the wall handing it to me

"A sword?"

"YES. See unlike guns swords don't run out of ammunition. ALSO most supernatural beings can be killed by a stab to the heart or a swift cut to the neck severing their heads."

I swung the sword around getting a feel for it, it was pretty light weight.

"Let's get started."

We spent hours just teaching my how to hold it, It is extremely important that the sword have good balance. He would say every time I got it wrong,

"Okay we are done for today get cleaned up and get some rest. Tomorrow is the big day " a wide grin on his face

"There's nothing big about starting school" I grumbled, I wasn't looking forward to being the new girl.

"Why can't I get home schooled or something!" he laughed wiping his face with a rag

"Get your stinky ass upstairs and showers" I gave him a shocked look, he simply laughed harder and walked up the stairs to the house. I sniffed myself self-consciously, I didn't stink! Not that bad at least.

I woke up the next morning dreading school; I hadn't left my new home since I got here. I wasn't ready to face people, but I had no choice. So I sucked it up, I looked in the mirror at my school uniform.  Hair falling down my back, I pulled a little at my school skirt. Taking a deep breath, relax Rose it is just school. No crazy supernatural vampires coming to get you.
