Chapter 4

That was the start when Lisa did not hesitate to come close to her. She sometimes accepts the nerd's invitations to get some snack. Jennie did not understand herself why she can't even say no. Also, her friends keep pushing her to Lisa. They really went out of their way to push harder.

Lisa is very kind and caring. All she thought that she only focuses on her studies being the nerd that she is. During the times they spent together, she learned that the other girl is fun to be with and she has a good sense of humor. She's so substantial and is not boring at all.

The rumors that she rejected Kai and she chose to be with a nerd spread like wildfire. She felt glad somehow that she finally get to give Kai the lesson that he deserved.

"Hi. You have a visitor." Her sister Jisoo said while slightly peeking at her room.

"Who is it?." She asked without glancing at her unnie. She was busy playing in her computer.

"A certain Lisa Manoban and--."

"It's Lisa!." Jennie cut her out and turned to face her sister. "It's Lisa?." She asked again. She can't believe that Lisa is actually paying her a visit.

Her sister smiled sweetly and raised her brows. "Mom and dad are talking to her. Go Jennie. We'll meet you downstairs." Jisoo said and closed the door behind her.

Few minutes later, Jennie is still inside her room. She cannot believe that Lisa is in their house and is talking to her mom and dad. Most especially, she can't believe that Jisoo met her!

What will Jisoo think about Lisa? She's gonna laugh at her for sure. If not, she'll laugh at her secretly. Jennie went out from her room quickly. She stopped midway when she noticed that her mom, dad, and unnie were all laughing while talking to Lisa. Her sister was laughing beautifully at something she might've said. And she never sees her father laughing to anyone that visits her. He's always been formal to her visitors.

But her father was really smiling. Maybe he's enjoying his talk to Nerdy Long Legs. No. To Lisa.

"Sweetheart' come, Lisa's here to visit you." Her mom smiled.

"Hi." Lisa stood up and greeted her.

"H..hi." she greeted back while she gets down slowly. Her family left her alone with Lisa.

"What are you doing here?" Jennie asked.

Lisa laughed huskily. "What kind of question is that.?"

"P..please take a seat." She offered then sits on the opposite chair.

"I like you parents. They went to our house a couple of years back. I met them many times but this is the only time that I got the chance to talk to them longer." She said while smiling widely. Her eyes were vibrant under the thick glasses that she wears.

She absentmindedly nodded.

"My Aunt always talks about them." The other girl continued.

"Of course. Mom and dad were your aunt's students when they were young. And when she retired, they often visit her." Jennie said remembering how her mom and dad tell stories about the old lady.

"And your sister, Jisoo unnie is beautiful; she's much beautiful now. I remember watching her coronation when she won the beauty title years ago."

Jennie furrowed her brows a little. Even when she's using thick glasses, she can still see how the nerd's eyes lit when she mentioned her sister. And she can't explain why she wanted to get irritated. Jennie is used to people patronizing her sister and giving compliments even her suitors and friends. She does not get mad at all. Until now.
