Chapter 12

"What's my schedule today Wendy?" Jennie asked her secretary as she arrives in her office. Started reading piles papers on her desk. The week has been so busy she barely has time for herself. She sipped her coffee and closed her eyes as the bitter taste of the drink lingers on her mouth.

"You will have a lunch meeting with Ms. Brüschweiler, the board members will be there too, Ms. Kim." Her secretary explains and handed her a folder.

The CEO started to read and review each clauses of the contract. "Thank you Wendy, that's all and oh, please reminds me about the meeting. I don't wanna be late on that one." She always punctual especially during meetings, she just want someone to remind her because she tends to over work when she's busy on something. She doesn't wanna be disturbed to unless it is urgent. Jennie takes her job very seriously. Her dad and sister often say she's too perfectionist in everything she does.

"I will, Ms. Kim. I'll head out and call me if you need something." She said then closes the door as she exits her office.

The CEO went back to checking all the papers in front of her and kept herself busy.

"Wake up! Monkey!" The blonde tapped her shoulders nonstop.

"Chaeng, it's too early. Mhhh." The other girl moaned and snuggled on her pillows; burying her head more to get the sleep she needs. They had a drink last night and she was drunk as fuck. But this chipmunk was annoying her.

"Get your ass up, you idiot! You have a meeting with Kim's Corp. remember?" Chaeyong slaps her head to wake her up. "I might have to pour some water on you if you don't get up! It's almost 10 am"

"Yah! Aish. You're so annoying! It's your fault why I'm like this today!" she said scratching her eyes. The model pouted as she massages her temples.

"I invited you to a club but I did not say you will drink a whole bottle of whiskey dimwit!"

"Okay enough! I'm gonna take a shower and prepare." Pranpriya raised her hands to surrender. She will not win over to this annoying chipmunk.

"Better be ready, babe. Let's meet after the meeting. I will pick you up."

"Oh, I will." I waited for this in a long time....She wanted to add. Pranpriya just smiled at her.

On the other hand, Chaeyoung sighed heavily when she looked at the other girl's expression. She just hopes that everything will go just fine. She knew her very well not to be worried right now. She wanted come with her but she doesn't have any business in Kim's Corp. I hope your heart is strong enough now. You can't show weakness there, Lalisa. She prayed.

Meanwhile, Jennie was startled when she heard a knock on her door. "Come in." She lazily said. The door opened and Wendy came in.

"Ms. Kim, it's already 12 and you have to be in the meeting before 1pm." She reminded.

"Oh, okay. I'll just prepare. And please have the contract ready at the conference room." The secretary nodded and she gets up from her seat and freshens up. She went straight to her private rest room and applied some make up. She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled. Good thing she chose the right suit today. She is wearing a tight black slacks and white shirt underneath and topped it with an expensively tailored black suit. She's wearing a dangling earrings with complimented her suit. She applied a light make up with a light smoky eye shadow to emphasize her beautiful eyes. She also decided to let her hair lose.
