Chapter 3

They were currently in the class when Jennie received three stems of red roses. The class went wild, shouting and teasing her which made the ice queen red from embarrassment. She didn't want that kind of attention. She didn't want any disruptions on her class either. She's more pissed than ecstatic. This is not cute at all. She hissed under her breath.

"This is from Kai." One of his friends said it in full confidence. That made Jennie more furious than she was. This also made the whole class squealed in excitement. Imagine a heartthrob sending flowers in the middle of the class. It's everyone's dream. They thought it's romantic. But the girl with feline eyes is not happy at all. Jennie just dumped the flowers on the floor. It could've gotten in the trash if Jennie is near to one.

"Jen, relax. If I was the one who received those I would be in heaven right now." Mina said who's sitting in front of her.

"Then that's all yours." She said curtly.

Once they finished class, as expected Kai was standing outside their classroom waiting for her. Mina immediately walked ahead before she even stopped her.

"Hello Jen, did you like the flowers?" he smiled.

"Thanks." She answered in a bored tone. She was holding the roses like some long beans. "However, if you are planning to give flowers, please don't do it in the middle of my class. It is embarrassing."

"Precisely my point, I want everyone to know that I like you." He said arrogantly. "Isn't it that girls like? to be wooed in front of many people? To let you the whole world that a guy likes you?" he added.

"Well not this particular woman, Kai and not definitely from you." She hissed.

Gone was the smile in Kai's face.

"Why are you playing hard to get Jennie? I was making an effort and still you have the audacity to get mad." He screamed.

"Then stop pestering me! Please don't follow me, you've already embarrassed me enough." The ice queen said coldly then walked out.

Kai just clenched his jaws while following Jennie walking away from him. His friends teased him more.

"Man, you're busted!" one of his friends said while laughing. He glared at him so he could stop with the teasing. Jennie Kim, you'll be mine. He whispered then smirked.

"Let me guess, Kai again?" Irene asked when she saw Jennie's sour face. They are walking towards the bench. It's their free time.

"I don't know what I'm gonna do with that jerk honestly." She sighed. "How can someone like that asshole when he's too full of himself. He thinks that no one will ever say no to him" she continued complaining.

"Well there are people like him" Irene consoled her while they sit on the bench.

Kai had so many girlfriends. He changed girlfriend like changing his underwear. Maybe he was challenged by Jennie who constantly rejecting him. The jerk is doing it for his ego. Jennie thought.

"If only you consider Lisa, Kai wouldn't be pestering you anymore." Her friend commented while teasing her.

"Shut up, Irene!" she said while the other girl picked her bag to go to her next class.

Jennie walked towards the nearest trash can and angrily dumped the roses.

"I'm glad those flowers didn't come from me."

She glanced to where the voice came from. "Lisa.." Jennie mumbled.

"Hi." She greeted smiling widely.
