Jisoo's POV
Mhhmn, this is enough I guess. I said as I check myself in the mirror. I wore a white shirt-dress with flares at the bottom which gives me a girly, simple and elegant vibe. Today I'm going to Kim's Corp to check on my sister. She has a photo shoot with Pranpriya Brüschweiler and I'm intrigued with her since I heard from some board members that Jennie and she don't seem to get along quite well. Jennie is always been composed and no one gets into her nerves. I remembered the clumsy skinny girl at the restaurant and how I got so annoyed with her aussie accent. A wicked smile formed as I recall her look when I left her standing with her mouth open. That woman doesn't seem to know me; not that I expect everyone to know me but majority does especially in South Korea. I am a TV personality that's why.
I tried to forget that nonsense incident and just focused on helping my dear sister. I know that Jennie doesn't like photo shoots, the least I can do is to support her on this. I went ahead and jumped on my car heading to the office. I turned on the car stereo and listened to some music, the drive is a little far from my house.
Woah, this is a good cover of Halsey's song! Wow whoever this artist is, she must be very good. I said praising the angelic voice on the stereo.
I stopped when the traffic lights started to change red. I was tapping the steering wheel when I heard my stomach rumble. I groaned. I was not able to eat breakfast because I woke up late. I checked my watch. I have 30 more minutes to spare. I need to go get some chicken to go and some iced coffee too. I'll just eat it in the set. I smiled and turned left to get at the nearest stall that sells the best fried chicken.
I ordered two buckets of chicken for me and some staff. I paid the vendor and asked to go back since I still need to get my coffee. She nodded and smiled.
"Thank you." I said politely.
Once I reached the coffee shop, I noticed that there's quite a line. I impatiently waited and checked my watch from time to time.
"I'm at the coffee shop babe, what do you want for a drink?" I heard a familiar voice behind me. Damn of all places, what is this witch doing here?
I can't help but notice how sweet her voice is. I raised my brows. So she can be sweet with her boyfriend I guess. I chuckled.
"A strawberry Frappuccino? Do you want cake to go with that too? What? Alright! Alright! Aish I'll hang up now. See you in a bit. Love you." The aussie girl continued. I can't help but laugh out loud because I can imagine her face without even looking at her.
"Excuse me, is there something funny?" She tapped my shoulders. I turned to face her and gave her a devilish smirk. Her reaction was priceless. She looks like she just seen a ghost.
"Oh, nothing's funny. I'm just amused because you sounded more like the crew here. You're good in taking orders and up-selling." Her nose flared with anger and I'm trying my best not to laugh again.
"Oh wow, how unfortunate to have encountered the devil incarnate, again." She sarcastically commented while she surveyed me from head to toe.
I laughed out loud. This girl has a wide range of vocabulary when it comes to describing me. I bowed at her. "At your service, tell me, what's your greatest desire?" I looked at her eyes intently mimicking Lucifer. I wanted to laugh so bad because her pretty eyes and cute cheeks are now burning in anger. Yes, I'm Kim Jisoo, the great actress.
Then I saw her smile. My heart skipped a little bit. Her perfect set of teeth is showing. "You wouldn't like it if I tell you my desire, babe." She touched my chin and winked at me leaving me speechless. "You think you can handle it if I tell you?" she whispered and looked straight in my eyes and bit her lips a little.
