Chapter 17

The next day I was going to Castro's company because my dad send me there and also to inform them something na nasa loob ng envelope na binigay sakin ni daddy.

He's expression is still the same.. Dissapointed si daddy pero I'm hoping na mawawala rin yung galit niya towards ate Jen who's now resting in the house with my  mom.

"Uh.. Excuse me where's the elevator?"

I questioned one of the staffs here smiling.

"That way po.. Uh are you Reine?" He suddenly ask.

"Yes po bakit? "

"Si.. Sir-"

Hindi ko na narinig yung sinabi niya ng may humatak sakin it's Vincent.

"Bakit ka nandito ha?"

"Bakit bawal?"

"Hindi naman sa bawal pero.. Nasaan si Jen? I need to talk to her"

"You can talk to her in your phone.. Or go to our house"

Napangiwi siya sa sinabi ko..

"Wait? Did..my-" Vincent cut my words and he talk like he knew what I was going to say.

"Yeah.. Your dad.. I can't see them.."

Nalungkot ako sa sinabi niya.. Why? Bakit gagawin ni daddy yun? For what?!

"I don't like this anymore.."

"Kung hindi siguro namin tinago na matagal na kami.. Hindi sana to mangyayari"

Nakangiti niyang sinabi ang mga salitang 'yon pero kitang kita sa mga mata niya ang lungkot. Bakit ba kasi nila tinago..

Ng makapasok ako ng elevator I was kinda lost for words.. Nalulungkot ako para sa kanilang dalawa.. I need to talk dad about this.

"Good afternoon po Ms. Reine"

"Good afternoon you must be the secretary here.. Uhmm...Can you give this to your boss"

She carefully handed the envelope habang ako nililibot ko lang ang buong mata ko sa office nila.

"Now this is an accident"

Hindi ako mapakali ng makita ko si Helena sa likuran ko crossing her arms habang nakatitig ang nanunusok niyang mga mata.

"Accident? " I was confuse.

"So how's the life of Reine? Masaya ka bang nakuha mo na si Helix? What an mangaagaw"

Huh? Ako? Teka ibig niya bang sabihin yung.

I'll divorce her.

"Wait.."

"Your acting like an innocent woman now ha? Bakit? Is it because Helix is tryna forget you tapos you're coming up nanaman?" She sounded like an evil person.

"I never tried to come up.. I never"

"I was mabait pa naman sayo but look at me now this is how it felt pala"

"Alam mo ang conyo mo at higit sa lahat ang arte mo!.. Can you speak clearly first after you argue me back?"

"Excuse me? Im not conyo.." Napakunot ang noo niya.

"Ang arte tangina.." I whispered.

"A-anong sinabi mo?"

She was about to hold me when Helix come to us.

"Wow.. Ha! Back up? Lovers? Hun.. I know that you still like me"

Nilapit niya ang mga kamay nito kay Helix but Helix throw her hands away.

"Get off me.. And stop that fucking HUN! I'll end this cause I never and I didn't felt like I was married!" Nakatingin siya kay Helena.

"Come on Reine you don't have to argue that woman it's just a waste of time"

Napahinga ng malalim si Helena habang nilalayo ako Ni Helix papuntang elevator.

"HELIX!! COME BACK! "

Were standing awkwardly inside the elevator while Helix is messaging his nose bridge.

"Are you ok? Did Helena hurt you?"

"She would never do that"

I talk like I was depending Helena. Alam ko namang hindi niya kayang gawin yun.

"Don't waste your time because of that..waste your time on me Reine"He said while his about to hold my hands.
