As the course of a week goes by, Eren begins to integrate you into his friend group. You see more of Jean and Petra, and you even awkwardly said hi to Levi when he was calling Eren during lunch. He seems... interesting, but you approve of the way he speaks to Eren, so your previous thoughts still stand: as long as Eren's happy, so are you.
You had to have a family dinner on Friday night, and so didn't get to meet Rivaille upon his return home, but Petra informed you that he wasn't exactly on top of his game after several hours of plane rides, either, so you're excited to meet him when he is.
During a rather warm Saturday morning, your phone pings with a snap from Petra. You hurriedly open it and see a picture of her smiling face, and that alone is enough to make your morning.
It's captioned: Hey, are you busy today?
Just unpacking. What's up? You respond, sending her a picture of your ceiling as you can't seem to contain your smile.
We're gonna go to the beach. Are you in? She texts. Eren said you'd be interested.
What time?
12:30. I can give you a ride if you don't have one of your own. I'll even let you pick music.
