Chapter 6 - Bakashi

Kuro's POV

I woke up to something warm hugging me and looked up. I saw kakashi sleeping and He was hugging me to him. I tried to get up out of his arms but he held me down. "Kuro just go back to sleep." I shook my head at him and tried to push his hands off of me. He squeezed me tighter. I'm hungryyyyy! I haven't eaten in like 5 thousand years! Bakashi!! I pinched his side. He grabbed my hand with one arm and kept the other around me and squeezed my hand. "Kuro just like 5 more minutes." No "yes" no "yes" no "kuro, I'm not arguing with you, so let me sleep for 5 more minutes. Then we can get up." No I'm hungry "you can wait 5 minutes" bakashi "hey! I'm not a Baka! Now shut up and let me sleep." He squeezed me once as if to finalize his statement and then his head dropped back down to his pillow. His breathing evened out almost immediately. I sighed internally. Bakashi, he doesn't know what happens when I don't eat for a whole day. He's really gonna get it. Oooo I can't wait! For food I mean. Definitely not bakashi getting scared and running away. Ah, who am I kidding. Seeing bakashi scared of me is funny. I closed my eyes and snuggled closer to kakashi if possible. His heartbeat a steady thrum in my ears. After about 5 minutes I decided to wake up sleeping beauty. I moved my leg to rest on top of his groin. Slowly I pressed my leg into him. At first he didn't seem to notice. Then he started to move his head. I kept pressing harder slowly, waiting for him to shoot up. I was pressing decently hard by now and he suddenly shot up releasing me from his grip. I was sent flying off of the bed, and landed on my butt. I looked at him as he looked around trying to find out what had woken him up. His eyes landed on me sitting on my butt with my shoulders shaking in laughter. He looked shocked, confused, and then horror. He got up out of the bed and rushed over to me. "Kuro! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to throw you off of the bed like that! Don't cry!" What? Cry? I'm laughing at his stupid face... oh, he thinks I'm crying because I got hurt. Baka! I'm not a baby! Kakashi had reached me at this point and was hugging me. He picked me up, but I pushed myself out of his arms as he stood up, effectively making myself fall on the ground on my butt yet again. I glared at him as he looked at me in betrayal. I stood up and stared straight into his eyes. I kicked him in the groin and then turned around and went into the bathroom. I closed the door and locked it. I grabbed a towel from the cabinet below the counter and set it aside for after my shower. I heard a knock on the bathroom door. "Hey kuro, I'm sorry for throwing you off of the bed. I just woke up suddenly and I guess accidentally threw you off." There was a pause. I guess he was waiting for me to say something. "Ok, well I'm going to make breakfast so when you are done come to the kitchen for food." I heard him walk away and close the door. I turned on the shower and got ready to get in.
After my shower I put on my clothes which took a bit considering I had to make sure every inch of my skin was covered. Once satisfied I unlocked the door and walked out into the bedroom. I looked around and saw that the bed was made and kakashi wasn't there. I shrugged and turned to go to the kitchen. Leaving the bedroom behind I walked down the short hallway and entered the living room/ kitchen/ dining room. They were all in one big room. I walked over to the kitchen and opened the oven and looked at the food. It was onigiri. Normally I would eat it no problem, but kakashi refused me food earlier for sleep. Now I'm going to be picky about what I eat. I turned away from the oven and went to the fridge. There was some vegetables and fruit. There was also orange juice. I took a glance at the contents and shut the door. I then turned away and walked to the front door. I sat down to put on my shoes. I was putting on my right shoe when kakashi walked up. "Hey, Kuro, where are you going?" I ignored him and kept putting on my shoes. I finished putting my right one on and started on my left. "Kuro, you can't just ignore me." I finished putting on my left shoe. I got up and headed for the door. I unlocked the door and grabbed the handle to open it. Kakashi grabbed my hand to stop me. "Kuro you can't just leave without telling me where you are going." I turned to look at him. He was standing behind me to my right a little. He had a stern look in his eye but also fear. I stared deep into his eye, challenging him. "Kuro, just tell me where you are going and I might let you go." I turned around so that my whole body was facing him. Pulling his hand in front of me, I squeezed it saying Food. He looked at me puzzled. " I made onigiri and rice. You can eat that." No "you ate it the other day." So "so you can eat it again!" No I turned around and opened the door walking out. I tried to close it before Kakashi could stop me, but he managed to slip out the door. I stared at him. He stared back. "Kuro. If this is about me throwing you out of the bed , I already said sorry. Now get back in there and go eat your breakfast." I turned around and started to walk off. He grabbed me from behind and picked me up. "Kuro you can't just walk off!" I squirmed in his arms trying to get down. His grip seemed to strengthen by the second. "Kuro. Stop. Struggling." I flailed my legs trying to kick him. I hit him a little but it wasn't hard enough to hurt. "Kuro if you don't stop I'm not going to carry you anymore." I struggled harder, trying to get out of his arms. "Kuro." He growled. Kakashi turned around and opened the door with one hand while the other kept me firmly in place much like earlier. This infuriated me even more and I squirmed about and flailed my legs. He got inside quickly and close the door. He replaced his arm around me and walked to the couch. Sitting down, he made me sit in his lap still holding onto me. "Kuro if I let you go will you sit down and not run off?" I shook my head no as I squirmed in his hold. "Kuro you either sit here or I chain you to a chair." I stopped squirming. "Good, now I'm going to let you go, so you better sit still and then you are going to explain to me where you were trying to go."  He released his arms from around me and moved me down onto the couch. He looked at me then with his hand in front of me. I stared at his hand. I grabbed it. I want ramen and dango. Kakashi stared at me bewildered. "You did all of that because you wanted ramen and dango?!" I nodded. Kakashi shook his head and muttered something that suspiciously sounded like" kids these days." I stared at him daring him to repeat that louder. "Kuro, if you wanted ramen you could have just said so. Now, I can make instant ramen-" I was shaking my head profusely at his last words. I didn't want instant ramen. "Kuro, what is wrong with instant ramen. Don't tell me that you don't want ramen now." Ichiraku ramen "you could have just said that from the beginning!" Bakashi "alright Kuro, we'll go to ichirakus for ramen." He reached over to me and picked me up. He positioned me on his chest and I rested my head on him. He walked out the door and locked it. Kakashi walked to ichiraku's while I dozed. When we got there kakashi sat down while still carrying me. I turned around so I was facing the counter. Miso ramen "2 bowls of miso ramen." "Alright! Coming right up!" I reached my hands out to the counter and started to tap a tune only heard to me. Kakashi was reading his Pervy book. A few minutes later and our ramen was served. I snapped my chopsticks and moved the bowl closer to me. I looked up and saw that everyone was staring at me. I sighed internally. Great! Now I have to make a distraction because there aren't any around here. (Note the sarcasm) I made 3 clones and sent them to put blindfolds over the threes eyes. Once the blindfolds were up I slurped down both bowls of ramen. I grabbed Kakashi's book,but replaced it with a fake, and gave the real book to a clone I made. I sent the clone to go burn it and his other pervy books. I put my masks back in place and the clones removed the blindfolds. Teuchi and his daughter looked defeated and kakashi was sad. Haha! That's what you get bakashi! He gave me the stink eye. I just cocked my head at him. He smiled and shook his head. I scooted closer to him and latched onto him. He put money on the counter and then stood up. He carried me back to the house and when we got there he put me on the couch. "Alright we'll go to training soon so be good for Itachi. I don't need him getting knocked out on his first day." I nodded. "Alright go grab your weapons and stuff and then we'll leave" I went into the bedroom and grabbed my weapon pouches and strapped them onto my legs. Satisfied with the positioning of them I went out to kakashi. We walked out of the house and kakashi locked the door. I grabbed his shirt and tugged on it. He looked over at me and then crouched. I climbed on his back and once I got situated he stood up and started walking.  Teleport "seriously kuro" yes "why can't you teleport?" Don't want to Kakashi sighed and did the bunshin no justu. We arrived outside of the anbu building. We walked in and put our masks on, or in my case I switched masks. Kakashi had a dog mask and I had a wolf. We walked to the training area and when we got there we saw all of the team sitting and waiting for us. Kakashi walked up to them. "Alright we are getting another new member." A chorus of groans "it's hokages orders, and I think you'll find that he isn't that bad. Now I'm going to go get finalize some paperwork. He should be here soon. Be nice." "Captain we already have 8 members, another one is too much." "Would you like to take that up with the hokage, toad?" "No captain." "Good." With that said he walked away and we headed back into the building toward the locker room. When we got there Itachi was walking out with his gear on. Kakashi nodded at him and Itachi came over to us. "Welcome to anbu. You are going to be on my team so head over to training area 8 in the anbu building. My team should already be there. I'll be a few minutes, I just have to do some paperwork to finalize the addition." Itachi nodded and headed back the way we came from. I watched him as kakashi walked the other way. When Itachi turned the corner kakashi stopped walking. He tapped my leg. Mask your chakra I squeezed him once. I masked my chakra entirely and I felt kakashi do the same. He teleported to a tree looking at the training ground. We watched as Itachi walked out and the team threw shuriken at him to see if he would flinch. Itachi kept walking forward as if nothing was happening. I smirked and nodded to myself. I can tell that he and I are going to like each other. Kakashi jumped down to the team. "What are you doing?" The team made a chorus of grunts and sighs. Kakashi walked up to Itachi and put a hand on his shoulder. "Sorry about them, they just want to see if you are good enough." Itachi nodded," hai, Captain." "Alright everyone introduce yourselves to him. I'll start, I'm kakashi Hatake, the captain of team Ro. My anbu name is dog, but you can call me captain, dog, or kakashi." He nodded to toad who was to our left. The team did their introductions. Then it was itachi's turn. "I'm itachi uchiha or weasel. I specialize in genjustu." Everyone nodded and turned to kakashi to hear what was next. Itachi looked at me. I squeezed kakashi. He looked back at me and then saw I was looking at Itachi. "Oh and this is kuro or wolf. He specializes in ... nothing nothing."I like to sleep and be carried "and he likes to sleep and be carried. Anything else?" I like ramen and dango "he likes ramen and dango." The team nodded at everything and Itachi seemed to be happy at the last bit of info. I gave everyone a thumbs up before patting kakashi's head. "Alright, we are going to train as a team today 4 vs. 4. The teams will have 5 minutes to prepare. The object is to take out the enemy team. Alright the teams are bear , tenzo, toad, and boar vs. lizard, bird, weasel, and kuro. I'm going to be the ref. Team 1 off you go to the south side and team 2 goes to the north side. You have 5 minutes before I will signal to attack." I raised my head from kakashi's shoulder and reached out for Itachi. Kakashi looked at me in surprise. "Kuro you want itachi to carry you?" I nodded. Kakashi walked over to Itachi. "Ok itachi, kuro is all yours." He nodded his head slowly and I reached out my hands for him. He grabbed me from my armpits and lifted me up I released my legs from around kakashi and latched onto Itachi instead. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he put one arm underneath me and the other on my back. I looked back at kakashi and he was watching carefully as if waiting for something. I shook my head at him. Itachi turned around and started to walk with our team to the north side. When we got there they started to plan out an attack. Itachi and I were supposed to act as bait for the other team and lead them into traps. Lizard and bird would wait in the trees and ambush them once they were in the trap. Itachi and would then trap them in a genjustu while I knocked them out.  They had just finished placing the traps when a flash of lightning went off to the left. We took this as the signal to start. Lizard and bird jumped into the trees to either side and masked their chakra. Itachi sat down on the ground with me in his lap. He leaned back on his hands and my torso and head followed. We made it look like I was sleeping on him and he was looking up at the clouds. I made a clone that looked like it was setting up a trap. His back was facing toward them but I could see behind him. I would squeeze his arm when they got into the trap. I released a little chakra into the area around us to sense where they were. Ok there is bird and lizard. And... kakashi. Oh! There is the other team. They are watching us and 2 of them just started to flank us. Looks like it is tenzo and toad who are flanking us. Interesting. Ok toad and tenzo are coming now. I opened my eyes and looked for toad and tenzo. I saw a flash of white a little to the right and sensed toads chakra from there. Alright now where is tenzo. Ah 5 feet to the left. I opened my eyes now trying to gauge the distance they were from the trap. About 10 feet. I put a little more pressure on itachis arm so that he would know that they are here. I felt a vibration and heard a low hum come from him signaling he got the message. They have to know that it is a trap. Probably why they aren't moving towards us... nevermind, I stand corrected. Toad was slowly moving towards us. He wasn't making a sound, but I could see him so... yeah. 3 more feet come on! 1 more... and bullseye! I squeezed itachi's arm hard and he set off the trap by cutting a wire with a kunai that he had hidden under his hand. Toad was suddenly trapped in wires and a few paper bombs. Itachi stood up and set me aside as he did so. I threw some shuriken at tenzo and he jumped out to dodge them. He moved infront of toad to block us from knocking him out while toad tried to get out of the wires. Itachi and tenzo were having a stare down when suddenly tenzo stood stock still and clutched the kunai he was holding so tight that his knuckles turned white. Genjustu. I moved towards tenzo and toad and swiftly chopped both in the back of the neck. They went unconscious. I turned around and saw that bird and lizard had taken care of bear and boar. I gave everyone a thumbs up and they all came and patted my head. I went over and got toad out of the wires. I then gave everyone of them a little bit of my chakra. Toad and tenzo woke up in 2 minutes and boar and bear took another 5 to wake up. Kakashi had joined us by now and told Bird and lizard that they had a mission, so they headed to go get it. He then said that Itachi, him, and I had a mission. He let the rest of the team have the day off to rest, train, or do other missions. Once he dismissed everyone I went over to Itachi and climbed onto his back. He held me with his arms behind his back underneath my butt holding me up. I rested my head on his shoulder and looked at kakashi. He looked at us for a second and then shook his head and walked away. Itachi followed him and we got to the locker room. "Do you have everything you need for a mission?" "Hai captain." "Alright Kuro can you teleport us to the hokage's office?" I nodded and kakashi put his hand on my head. I did the signs for bunshin no justu and we ended up right infront of the hokages desk. Kakashi and Itachi kneeled while I got up off of Itachi and went and sat down on the edge of gramps desk facing him with my legs dangling off the edge. Gramps smiled at me and then addressed kakashi. "I assume you're here for the mission?" "Hai hokage-Sama." "You are going to guard the escort team for a scroll exchange. The scroll exchange is based on blind trust. When the enemy betrays our Shinobi you are to attack them and kill them. Leave no survivors." "Hai hokage-Sama." (A/n I know that Danzo gave kakashi this mission, but I thought that it would add to the hokages character if he was the one who did instead. Also I don't like danzo so I don't feel like putting him in the story much.) "here is the scroll. dismissed" Kakashi nodded and stood along with Itachi. I got onto kakashi's back and waved bye to gramps and then teleported us three to the gates. We ended up in the trees looking at the gates. As we waited for the escort team to show up, kakashi taught Itachi some of the anbu strategies and rules. After 30 minutes of waiting the escort team arrived. As they left the village we followed behind. When we got to the rendezvous point we sat only feet away as we waited for the betrayal. The scroll exploded and we jumped forward. "Leave this to us." We set to chase the enemy. As we were chasing them we were lead to a trap and the captain of the escort team was there with us. He used some taijustu to get up the mountain that the enemy was on while kakashi blocked a landslide with an earth wall. I teleported us up there next to the enemy. Kakashi took out a few and Itachi took out the others. While kakashi was talking to the captain of the escort team, Itachi went around killing the unconscious ones. I checked for anyone who was worth anything for a bounty. None of them were worth it so I just took one to replace Bobby. I sealed the body in a storage scroll and turned back to kakashi. I got onto his back and Itachi grabbed my leg. I teleported us back to Konoha. We went to report to gramps. After reporting the mission kakashi sent Itachi home with the anbu rules and strategies scrolls to study. We got home and kakashi made instant ramen and we ate that and then got in bed. I laid down on top of him as he read his Pervy book. Eventually he went to sleep an hour later and I snuggled closer to him and fell asleep as well.

Yo, how's life? I've got a lot of school stuff going on. I'm trying to update at least once a week, but no promises. That's all I wanted to say. Wait, I'm missing something. Hmm.... oh! I only own my oc's and part of the plot. Yep, gotta remember that disclaimer. 🙂
