I'm crying, i can't believe what happened

why Martinus?

why he and not other?

There are so many houses, why it has to be his the one that burns?

I go as fast as i can to hospital and when i arrive i do what they told me, i ask fir Carl and a few seconds later the doctor arrives and explains me what happened, Martinus had arrived alive at the hospital, the doctors did everything they could but they couldn't save his life

-can i see him?- i ask crying

We walk to a room and he leaves me in front of the door, when i open it i see my brother's lifeless body and sitting next to him a 15-year-old Sophie crying, i walk closer to her and put my hand on her shoulder, she stands up and hugs me

-uncle Marcus- she cries

-shhh, i'm here- i say huggin her tight

Some days later it's decided that Sophie will stay with ud and that makes me hapoy, this way i feel that a part of Martinus and y/n is here with me

*Martinus pov*

I wake uo coughing and feeling thag i can't brathe

-hey, breathe, or the equivalent to breathe here

When my sight gets creal i can see a 18-year-old smiling, sitting beside me with one of her hands on her chest

-y/n? I thought you were dead! Where am i? What happened?

-yes, i'm dead, and you are dead as well, welcome ro heaven

-i...i'm...dead?- i asks scared

-yes, don't be scared, this is a nice place

-what happened? How i died?

-there was fire in your house, you arrived at hospital uncounscious but you died some minutes later of intoxication, lack of oxygen and some sirious wounds

-and what about Sophie? Is she okay?- i ask worried

-she's okay, now she lifes with Marcud

I try to stand uo but i lose my balance, y/n catches me before i fall

-be careful, the wings destabilize a lot when you aren't used to them, i see that you have also choosen the body that you had when you were 18

I look at myself and as she daid i had my 18-year-old body and two wings on my back that i learned to use thanks to   y/n, i also met her brother and her parents

About ten years later Sophie, Marcus, his wife and his son arrived here, the plane where they where travelling had lost control and fallen, nobodh had survided to the crash, bjt i was quite happy to see them again and be able to be with them.

And although death is a sad thing, heaven is not that bad we can all be together for all eternity
