Sirius POV

I was walking with the rest of my lot to the common room when all of a sudden the hall became quiet and a cold presence started walking. Soon whispers started up, "oh my gosh she is such a freak." "I heard she ate a spider. gross." "I heard she killed her own pet dog." Then I saw she was Y/N L/N, her face had no emotion, she was a Slytherin. she hung out with my brother that is the only reason I know her, mother seems to adore her. she's not mean though, if she knows you she will give you a nod and spare you a glance. not once have I ever heard her talk bad about someone.

she saw me. I saw the edge of her lip twitch upwards into a small smile, if you did not know her or see her often you would never notice it. she gave me a very small nod and continued walking, "Woah did you hear what that freak did?" I heard "they say she gave her soul to you know who." I rolled my eyes. "no way really?" "yeah."

"ew, what a freak." I hated that they called her that, she didn't care if they called her that though. She was a companion even though no one deserved it, She continued walking and I walked with the rest of the marauders till we got to our dorm. "Honestly she is so cool," Peter sighed, making Remus roll his eyes and James chuckle. "Is our little worm tail in love?" he shook his head "No, but have you seen her? She's so amazing, she walks without a care about what anyone says about her."

I rolled my eyes, he was right she did do that often. "your brothers her friend right?" I was suddenly put on the spot, "uh yeah? why?" Peter came and sat on my bed, his hands in a prayer position. "please tell him if I can meet her. please please please?" I chuckled "just go up to her she's not gonna kill you." he gave me wide eyes.

"are you mad just go up to her? I heard one time a boy went up to her and she petrified him." I rolled my eyes "she didn't. she wouldn't, plus he asked her to tutor him for potions and she did. He got an A on a test later that week."

"really?" I nod, I started packing since I'm gonna go with James for Christmas.

~time skip to the trains~

we put our stuff on the train and we got on the train. "ok now to find a cubby." Every single place we looked was packed. The train had already started moving, we continued searching till we found an almost empty cubby.

I repeat almost. there sat a figure I knew all too well, I knocked and opened the door "hey can we sit here? it's the only available space." she looked over at me with her big E/C eyes, nodded. I sat next to her, Peter, in front of her, James next to Peter and Remus in front of me. she was looking out the window and Peter kept glancing at me, then at the ground, then at her.

we all sat in comfortable silence, "I-i'm Peter Pettigrew!" Peter suddenly shouted and extended his hand to her, i facepalmed. she looked slowly over at him. I saw her mouth twitch to that small smile. "pleasure, Peter. sorry, I don't shake hands." He nods quickly and pulls his hand back.

she looked back out the window, comfortable silence filling the cubby. He looked over at me, he looked like he was gonna burst. "I'm sorry I just really admire you! you're so cool! for example, you walk down the halls as you own them! then when we were in potions and you did that Skele-Gro potion successfully in under 3 minutes! that was awesome! I really admire how you work! you are also very pretty and so super smart!" he shouted again, this was adorably funny so I and the boys chuckled, it actually startled her, though she made the smallest movement.

she looked over at him, her smile grew a bit. it seemed like a regular small warm smile, this made all of our eyes widen. "That's the biggest smile I've ever seen on your face Y/N." I tell her "Thank you Peter. I've never heard anyone say that about me." he nodded very quickly. "I already knew who you were Peter, Sirius won't shut up about his best friends sometimes when I visit his brother."

I smiled "oh come on sugar you know you only come because of me." she shakes her head, looking out the window she points to James. "You are James potter and you are Remus Lupin. you are all Animagus, but one of you has to turn involuntary every full moon. don't worry he didn't tell me you all just smell like it."

the lady with her candy trolly stops at our door "anything dears?" "let them get anything they wish madam here you go." y/n said as she handed the lady money. y/n sat back down and the boys stared at her, she looked up at them "are you not gonna get anything, it would be rude to not accept my offer." They slowly nod and each gets something from the trolly. she grabbed a book from her bag that was at her feet.

she's always had her nose in a book, I actually finally noticed she wasn't even in her robes she had changed into and a black button-up black jeans and a black leather belt. "Woah Woah Woah when did you change?" I asked, "when you were grabbing something from the trolley." She took off her flats, her feet are adorable, she placed them in her bag and sat down on a criss-cross.

"L/N?" I heard Remus speak up, "easy you all smell like animals, and unless you've been with Hagrid which I highly doubt you have been, plus the other night I heard you all sneak out, your not as quiet as you think you are." she left him bewildered. "h-how did you know I was gonna ask that?" she sighed closing her book, she looked at me, "close the shutters and I'll show you." I nod and close them all and also locked the door. "Now don't freak because if you do I will Obliviate. all of you."

we nod and soon it looked like her eyes changed color and she hopped all of a sudden she was a bat. she flew around and Remus turned the light on the cubby off. "Remus why did you turn off the lights." James asked cluelessly like usual, "bats can't see well in the light they use echolocation." Remus replied and I'm sure I heard ahead smack. "Woah you're a bat. that is so cool." I heard peter. soon though I felt something gently land on my head and nuzzle into it like a nest.

"she's on your head, Sirius." "wow peter I didn't notice." he scratched his neck. Remus slowly got up and stuck his hands out to her so she could climb on it. and she did, so now she's hanging upside down on his finger. "Woah you're so tiny." she made a small echoing noise and flew up turning into her human form taking the last step to her seat turning on the lights as she sat down. she picked up her book and opened it "does that explain?" we all nod, "also Sirius your hair is surprisingly soft." she leaned back and laid her head on my lap.

"babe I thought we agreed that not in public." I told her and she smiled "we aren't in public plus it's just them they aren't gonna tell anyone. right boys, because it would be a shame if three of the marauders suddenly disappeared." they all nod "good." I smiled and leaned down to kiss her head. they all just stared at me with their jaws wide open "close your mouth boys a bat might just mistake those pretty little mouths for caves." at her words it was like they were brought back.

"since when have you two been dating?" "since the third year," she curtly answered. "you know now that you think of it he really hasn't talked to any girls since the third year." Remus said almost as if he were looking back. "yeah because if he did he would have had to say bye-bye to his bestie down below the belt." she answered with a sickeningly sweet smile, this made the boy's eyes widen. "wait really?" I nod, "she doesn't play around, besides she's all I need to feel more than satisfied." peter looked confused, James and Remus scrunch their noses in disgust, and I received a smack on the head with a book. "shut up we haven't even done it yet." she rolled her eyes.

this made the boys laugh, "oh shut your traps boys." I smiled down at her and she's the one I want.
