One: The Start of Us

She gasp for air once again.

She gaze from her left to right to check if that person is still running after her.

"This can't be true. Why a dead person long time ago is chasing me?" She said in her mind.

Bits of perspiration.

Frustration and fear can be driven out of her face if it is not dark.

Dead? Or she just thought that person was dead but the truth is that person still rocking for life.

She ran again as fast as she can but when she is about to turn right on that corner of the road, that person is there!

"You thought? You bitch!" That person grabbed her into the corner and strangled her to death.

"NO ONE IS ABOVE ME. DEAD MY ASS! I'LL BE LIVING THE WAY I WANT TO."

"ISANG guro sa Pampanga ang natagpuang patay. Ang nasabing guro ay 50 taong gulang at kasalukuyang nagtatrabaho sa Pampanga Stellvester State University o kilala bilang PSSU. Ang guro ay hinihinalang sinakal gamit ang lubid ngunit batay sa imbestigasyon, mayroong hindi tama sa crime scene. Kasalukuyan itong sumasailalim sa mas malalim na imbestigasyon."

"Patayin mo na iyan." Ang sabi ng kanyang ina.

"Nay naman bakit po ninyo pinatay ang TV?" Reklamo nito sa kanyang ina.

"Huwag ka nang masyadong mag-isip sa nangyari. Ngayon pa man din ang unang araw mo sa klase mo. Galingan mo ah nak?"

"Nay, isang gurong tulad ko ang namatay. Nakakabahala."

She is a fresh graduate of Bachelor of Elementary Education. She recently passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers and currently taking her Masters Degree.

She decided to take her Masters Degree so that she can teach on her dream university as a college instructor.

Today is her first day as a college instructor in PSSU.

"MISS, ikaw ba yung bagong teacher?" The new teacher nodded.

"Ako ho ang caretaker ng unibersidad. Ito ho yung kwarto ninyo. Nariyan na rin yung mga gamit ninyo. Pagkatapos niyo pong mag-ayos ay pinapapunta kayo ng dean sa College of Education Building. Magmimeeting raw po kayo ng iba pang bagong guro."

"Sige ho. Salamat po."

The new teacher go inside the room and saw that it looks like an apartment.

"Why this room looks like this? It doesn't look a faculty room."

"This is our room. Hi I am your roommate." Suddenly a woman with short hair appear.

The new teacher plastered a questioning look but she just chose to zip her mouth.

"I am also not aware of what's happening. We will find out later." Her roommate smirk.

Creepy.

"I THINK all of you are already here. So I am the dean of the College of Education. The five of you are the new teachers here. There are rules that you need to know. But before that magpakilala muna kayo."

"Hi I am the new teacher. I graduated Bachelor of Elementary Education. Nice meeting you all po." She said while smiling but the others do not look happy except for the man with a gray hair.

"Hi everyone. I am the P.E. instructor. I am so much happy to meet you all." The man with gray hair said. He looks so energetic and active.

He is a happy man. The new teacher said inside her mind.
