Author POV
A gun shot was heard from a far.
"What was that? Ah... I guess it came from outside... anyways. TaeTae, I have to ask dad about my math homework, ok? I'll be back~" a 13 years old girl said while sitting on Taehyung's bed.
She had black hair which reached to her shoulders just like her mother. The dark-blue night dress she was wearing looked beautiful on her which suited to her blue eyes.
"No sister, no... don't go there...please, no...stay here...no..." Taehyung muttered to himself while crouching in the middle of the work room of his father.
"Ok sister. But come back soon or I'll miss you a loooot." The 10 years old Taehyung said with open arms to describe how much he'll miss her and smiled.
"Oh and don't forget! You promised that you would show me the new song you learned on the piano today. Aw and when is mom coming back? Is auntie feeling better now?"
She just laughed without answering his question and went downstairs after patting his head.
"No... stop...I don't want to remember it...no...!" Taehyung said and closed his eyes with his hands.
The clock above the door ticked without a single pause. Taehyung was sitting on his bed while hugging a light-blue, round pillow.
"It's already late...why didn't sister come back already..." He thought.
Suddenly, he heard something heavy fall on the ground.
It came from outside of his room.
"Huh! What was that?! Aw sister...where are you...I'm scared..." Taehyung said and hugged the pillow more tightly.
"N-No...stop it...please...I can't take it anymore..." He said and tried to calm down, or else he would get unconscious again.
And Taehyung didn't want his father to beat him up when he saw him in his work room like that.
But it just hurt too much.
How long has he been here already?
4 hours?
Or maybe 3?
Taehyung didn't know anymore.
He just wanted to get out of this nightmare.
Someone knocked on the door.
"Dad! Where is sister? Is she asleep already? Aw but she wanted to play the piano for me! And when is mom coming back? I miss her sooo much..." Taehyung said while looking at his father with a hopeful expression.
"No!...Stop!" He shouted while closing his ears with his hands like that would stop the memories.
His dad only avoided eye contact and told him that they won't be coming back.
Taehyung was confused and he couldn't really interpret the look on his father's face, who somehow had a sad but also angry expression. And maybe a little superior.
Since Taehyung didn't want to bother his dad, he only nodded and went back to his bed and fell asleep while tightly hugging his pillow like that would make his sister and mother come back.
After his father left, he heard something heavy falling on the ground again, which woke him up for a few seconds, then he went on with sleeping.
It was all my fault, he thought and couldn't stop blaming himself.
No matter what he did, the memories kept coming back and he felt so helpless. He was short of breath.
The memories were suffocating him."Forgive me...sister..." was the last thing Taehyung could say before fainting.

Taehyung POV
The beautiful and harmonic sound of the piano that got louder and louder woke me up.
When I opened my eyes, the music suddenly stopped playing.
I left out a sigh and turned around, still laying on the soft carpet as I saw something under the desk. It looked like a note book.
That's why I stood up and tried to take it out.
When I touched it, I felt that it had a leather envelope.
"Ha, I got you now." I said.
After finally being successful, I took it out and looked at the black note book in front of me.
"My father wouldn't be happy if he saw this...nah he isn't even here so...why not?" I said and opened it excitedly.
"W-What? Seriously...?" I said and looked at the note book disappointedly.
"Recipes? But he doesn't even cook himself..." I stated and pushed it back to where I found it.
Then, I heard someone unlocking the door from downstairs.
"O-Oh no...He's back! I have to get out..." I whispered to myself and opened the door, checked if everything was like before I came in and went downstairs hastily, closing the door behind myself.
I went into the living room to see if it was really my father who came in, but it surprisingly wasn't.
'A thief?' I thought.
I couldn't recognize the person since all the lights were turned off.
That's why I hid behind the door and after taking a closer look, I saw that it was the caretaker of my school.
What was he doing here and how did he get the keys to our house?
He went up and down the living room, like he was searching for something.
And I guessed that it was extremely important since the caretaker wouldn't stop muttering:
'He'll kill me if I don't find it'.
Suddenly, I leaned too much on the door so that it opened and hit on the wall, making a loud noise. My heart started to beat really fast because of the fear.
The caretaker turned around and shouted "Hey!" and followed me as I ran into my room.
But as soon as I entered my bedroom, someone covered my eyes with a blindfold and hit my head with something made of porcelain, like a vase.
I heard the glass splintering on the ground.
The pain was unbearable.
My vision got blurry and I soon became unconscious.
