I took my phone out from the pocket of my dark blue jacket to look at the clock.
It was already 7:13 pm.
The lessons ended an hour ago, but I forgot my water bottle in the physics room so I tried to go back and looked for that room, but I got lost in this big building and it seemed like all the teachers and students went home already.
After struggling for a few more minutes, I heard someone going upstairs.
I thought that it was the caretaker of our school, so I went to there.
"Uhm...Hello...I'm new here and got lost. Do you know where the physic room is...? I forgot my water bottle in there." I said.
The man in his 60s went past me and gave me a sign that I should follow him.
We went down the stairs and he opened the room with the number 302.
The building looked much scarier at night. Well, I didn't want to waste any more time here, so I hurried to my seat and took my water bottle.
Then, I thanked him and started to go upstairs.
"Wait. Could you tell me your name?" the caretaker asked.
"My name is Kim Taehyung. I just changed my university, so—"
"Kim...Taehyung? Is...is your father's name Kim...Moonjo?" He asked.
"Huh? Yes. Do you know him?"
"N-No it's just—Hey you should go home. It's already getting dark." he said.
"Uhm yes you're right...Anyways, thank you for your help." I said and went outside.
The caretaker was right, it was already dark.
But that wasn't a problem since I didn't have to go home with a bus or tram.
I walked to the parking lot, got inside my car and started to drive.
On the way home, I thought about how it was possible that the caretaker knew the name of my father.
Maybe, because he was a well-known and popular CEO? Yes, I guess that's why he also recognized me.
But now, I had to think about how I should explain my father something else and I was sure that he won't be happy when I tell him about it.
And I also knew that it wouldn't work out well for me.
