Chapter 19

They were sitting in the living room, Taehyung's head laying on Jungkook's shoulder as they were watching Iron man.

It had been two weeks since they started living together. Sometimes, Yoongi, Jimin and Jin visited them but most of the time, they stayed at home.

Since they had to practice for the upcoming exams, they didn't have a lot of time to spend together.

Luckily, Jungkook was able to convince Taehyung to take a break from all the studying and watch a movie with him today.

At least they had planned to watch it together, but Taehyung fell asleep halfway through.

After taking a glance at his tired boyfriend, Jungkook carefully stood up and came back with a soft blanket to cover him so that Taehyung wouldn't feel cold.

He smiled slightly while looking at the sleeping boy.
After making sure that he was completely covered, Jungkook turned off the TV and went into the kitchen.

It was already 8pm so he decided to prepare something for dinner.

Since Jungkook always had to pack his lunchbox or make himself something to eat when he was young because his parents didn't care about him, he was really good in cooking.

Much better than Taehyung who didn't even know how to make ramen.

But he thought it was cute how his boyfriend always needed help when he wanted to make something to eat but still failed at the end so Jungkook had to cook for them.

Although he did his best to stay quiet, Taehyung startled when a pan fell on the ground.
He sat up straight on the sofa and looked into the kitchen, still half asleep.

Jungkook immediately felt sorry when he saw the messy-haired boy struggling to keep his eyes open.

"I'm sorry..." Jungkook said with a timid smile.

Taehyung stood up and slowly walked into the kitchen.

"It's ok." He said and yawned.

"What are you cooking?" Taehyung asked while looking over Jungkook's shoulder who was cutting onions.

"It's a secret." The boy said and left out a chuckle.

"Mm Kookie...Tell me please~" He pouted. The way Taehyung said his nickname made Jungkook's heart flutter.

"Hmm... What about you go into the bedroom and I wake you up when dinner is ready?"

"Aw but I can't...I have to study." Taehyung said and back hugged Jungkook.

"You've been practicing till midnight throughout the whole week. You should get some rest."

"Mmm...ok...I'll try." Taehyung said and went into the bedroom after hugging him tightly.

Jungkook went on with preparing dinner. To be honest, Taehyung always looked really cute even if he didn't try to. Just seeing him was enough to cheer Jungkook up whenever he felt tired or sad.

After placing the lasagna on the plates, he quietly went into the bedroom.

"Huh?" Jungkook said surprisedly as he saw Taehyung who fell asleep while studying.

He slowly pulled Taehyung away from the table, slid his hands under the body and slowly carried the boy. Then, Jungkook laid him on the bed, making sure that he was comfortable.

"Kookie...don't go..." Taehyung muttered and held his hand when Jungkook was about to go back.

"Tae...I have to put the food into the fridge. I'll be back in a second." He said with a soft voice.

"No...I don't want you to go...can't you stay with me for a bit...?" Taehyung pouted, still not letting his hand go.

"Ok then...if that's what TaeTae wants." Jungkook said, laid next to him and covered themselves with a blanket. He just couldn't resist his lover's cuteness.

"Mm... thank you Kookie..." He muttered while hugging Jungkook.

Soon, Taehyung fell asleep.

All the studying and stress must've been really exhausting for him, Jungkook thought.

He turned around to face the boy. It still felt so surreal that Taehyung was lying next to him, looking like an angel.
How his hair fell on his forehead, his nose, pinkish lips, dark brown eyes—everything about him was beautiful.

After admiring his lover for a little bit longer, Jungkook also fell asleep, snuggling close to the boy.

He hoped that this moment could last forever. Jungkook just felt so happy and secure to have Taehyung by his side.
