As Kim Moonjo pierced the cold knife through his stomach, Jungkook left out a scream.
"Watch closely, Taehyung." The man said and pushed the weapon deeper with a smile, which made the boy cry out louder.
Taehyung couldn't take it to see Jungkook's painful expression who was clearly suffering and would die if someone wouldn't stop his father.
"Stop it!" Taehyung shouted just before the shimmer of lust for murder in his father's eyes could get bigger and completely overtook him.
"What's so important that you had to disturb us...Taehyung?" The man asked with an annoyed smile.
The knife in his hands reflected the only light that came out of a small opening at the top of the ceiling."Don't...don't kill him..." Taehyung said while staring at the floor.
He didn't dare looking at Jungkook who sank to the ground the moment his father took out the knife.
"Mm...then who should I murder?" Kim Moonjo asked with an impatient tone.
"Your...self." Taehyung said without hesitating.
"I-What?" The man said and started laughing. "Why should I kill myself when it all was actually your fault?"
"My...my fault?" The boy asked, now looking up.
"Oh aren't you going to tell Jungkook who killed his brother? Don't you think he has the right to know the truth?" Kim Moonjo said with a smirk.
"It wasn't my fault!" Taehyung yelled.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, I am! I'm not the one who killed them. Maybe, the decisions I made somehow helped you to get your victims but I'm not the one who murdered them!" He shouted.
"Hm...so it wasn't your fault when you gave his brother drugs?" The man said.
"Wha-What are you two talking about?" Jungkook asked.
"Come on. Tell him." The man smirked. Everything went as he had planned.
"I...I got thrown out from my old school because...I used to deal with drugs. Jeon Woong, your brother was my regular customer. On the day of his death, he wanted to buy more than usually. I warned him that he should be careful not to overdose. After that, he stopped coming and I thought that he moved out or something. But although it was obvious, I ignored the truth when you told me about your brother. My father threw him into the lake to destroy the evidence so that I wouldn't get into trouble. Well, the police still found the drugs though." Taehyung's voice cracked as he said the last sentence since he was trying hard to hold back his tears.
He was scared that Jungkook might hate him now.
"Tae-" Was the only thing he Jungkook could say as his stomach suddenly hurt badly.
"But that's only what he told to me! If the police found drugs, that means your brother didn't consume all of them. So, he couldn't have overdosed! My father is the one who killed him and used the fact that I've been dealing with drugs to make me feel guilty. It's not even my fault!" Taehyung explained.
"You just don't want to accept the truth. It was you who killed his brother. It's also your fault that your sister got killed."
"It's not!"
"Yes, it is. Then why do you keep coming back to that place? You feel guilty because you know that it was your fault."
"No, stop!" Taehyung said as the memories started to come back again. He remembered about the promise his sister gave him and his eyes filled with tears.
