Taehyung POV
"Jungkook no!" I shouted, hoping that he was able to hear me.
What should I do if he really came here? I didn't even want to imagine how losing him would feel like. Still, I had never been this scared in my entire life when I saw the smile on my father's face as he walked outside so that he could talk with Jungkook in peace.
When he came back, I couldn't even look at him. I didn't want to know what Jungkook had decided, but I had to ask him. Because it would affect our whole life.
"What...What did he say..." I muttered with my head down.
"You really want to know it?" My father said and laughed.
I couldn't describe how much I hated his laugh. It was somehow humiliating and I didn't like it when people looked down on me. But I also didn't think of myself as a goodness.
"Really brave... But stupid." He stated with a high-pitched voice and walked around the room like he was trying to remember something he forgot only a second ago.
After a minute of walking up and down, he suddenly stopped and the loud stepping sound his shoes did made me look up.
"Today is such a great day! Taehyung-ah...let's play another game. Then, I'll tell you who this 'special person' I murdered is."
"N-No I don't want to." I said a little taken aback.
"So... you don't want to know who I killed? Hm, ok then. "
I wasn't sure what to say. His games could never end well for me. Still, it was a really important information, and maybe, his 'game' wasn't even that hard to win.
"Wait... let's play." I said. He smiled brightly as he came nearer to me.
"Good! A great decision." My father meant and clapped two times.
"Let me explain the rules: If you win, I'll tell you who this 'special person' I murdered is. But if you lose, I'll stab you. 'No answer' counts as wrong. There is a time limit of 2 minutes."
"S-S-S- Stab me?!" I stuttered, refusing to believe what I just heard.
"Don't worry...Not too deep. Just enough to scare Jungkook off when he arrives. Doesn't this sound fun?" He said and I could see the small sparkle in his eyes that was filed with lust. Lust for murder.
"Wha- Wait! Jungkook is- he's coming?!" I yelled with fear.
Now that I knew the truth, it made me panic. I had to do something, but I didn't know what. My hands started to shake at the thought of losing Jungkook. Dying would be a better option than seeing how he gets tortured in front of me and not being able to help him.
"Mmm let's start." My father said with a smirk on his face when he saw how frustrated I looked. He went two steps back and looked in my eyes.
"What is the creature that walks on four legs in the morning, two legs at noon, and three in the evening?"
A being that can change his number of legs throughout the day? What?
No matter how much I thought about the phrase he just said, I couldn't come to a conclusion. Still, I wasn't about to give up that easily.
"You have 10 seconds left~."
"A...A plant?"
"No."
"A fantasy creature!"
"No that's also wrong."
I said anything that came to my mind, hoping that it was the right answer so that I could save myself somehow, but it didn't work. I was so frustrated that my eyes were filled with tears. The situation seemed so hopeless.
No matter what I did, I was stuck in his games.
