They day wasn't as warm as it appears and the night will get chilly, so she climbs off the car and takes a backpack out of the trunk, in which she stuffs her jacket, cellphone and keys.

The girl leaves the car parked close to others in what seemed to be a parking lot for the visitors.

It was then that she realized no one she knew would be around and Phoebe was nowhere to be seen, nor Boom Boom's group of friends so she had no more choice but to walk around for a bit and put on her own sunglasses to walk around until the sun sets.

As the time passes, the night has finally settled and the wind has gotten chilly just like the environment around the lake, some people has gathered to form a bonfire.

Boom Boom never answered her phone and she was nowhere to be seen, Nicole went to talk to the guards in charge of the place but they only promised to check for a girl with that description, other than that, there was nothing.

And so she had to take the matter on her hands.

Nicole walked around the lake, checking the area with the light of her phone and a new trick her mother has showed her, creating a fire ball to illuminate the night.

Nicole

From this hill, my eyes adjust to a see jet ski coming in my direction, two people were sitting on it, both continuously turning their heads around, as if someone is chasing after them.

Their jet ski stops by the edge of the lake and both climb off it, crawling their way up near where I am.

Then, I can finally recognize the driver.

"Hey, Phoebe! What are you two-"

I'm not able to finish my sentence as I take a clearer look of both teens before me, the guy next to her is definitely covered in blood, not only his clothes but his face is barely splattered in red too.

"Red he-, Nicole? What are you doing in here? Are you with them?!" Phoebe is quick to ask in panic, staring up at me accusingly and stepping as far as she can, followed by the still unknown boy.

"Who? I was looking for you and my friend Boom Boom, remember that you mentioned her before?"

"Boom Boom was your friend?" The boy asks me in an agitated tone.

"Well, yeah kind of. Where is she?"

Both of them share a gloomy look, and I just wait there for an answer.

"Look, I know this is going to sound crazy but basically" That friend of Phoebe tell us both, pausing to breath.

"They're a blood cult and they made a deal with the devil, and in exchange for their souls they get any life they want."

My eyes grow wide, it wasn't the answer I was hoping for but that certainly explained their messed up state and the reason for him being covered in blood.

"Thank God. I thought they were zombies. I hate zombies" Phoebe says before I finally climb down the ladder and join them.

"You...believe me?" The guy asks her almost gleaming of joy.

"Yes. What else do you expect from attention-seeking social media millenials with esteem issues"

"Okay, okay but what happened to my friend? I came here to find her"
