The memory I recalled back in the boat with Cole, appears by my closed eyes briefly, almost in slow motion before I hear my name in the distance, but my eyelids feel heavy and all I'm able to see is the moving water in front of me, as well as the moonlight reflection on it.

Cole checked on me when he arrived and caressed my face lightly, worry clouding his gaze. Anyhow, he was quickly snatched away in order to let Melanie get some of his blood, apparently in order to let Phoebe and I free.

Also, my head feels like it is about to explode anytime from now, with everything spinning around, the voices in the background are familiar but there is no way to decipher who is who.

The world keeps on moving until an unknown figure comes out of the water, my eyes widen in realization. Whoever it is, seems to be a blonde girl walking or floating, (I don't know) towards firm land and once she reaches the ground and finally is able to walk on it, the girl eyes me and smirks lightly, then she keeps going further.

I hear Cole talking but also Phoebe, that's everything I can distinguish.

They said, Bee? That might be her name.

But then, after more chatting here and there, a faint silence takes over the place and no sound is made.

Everything is quite but grunting and coughs make me look above my shoulder weakly.

"Why is everyone puking?" I ask in a whisper, seeing how that evil group is doubling just like I did before.

"The blood of the sacrificed, mixed with the blood of the innocent" That girl, Bee from the lake says out loud.

"But you aren't so innocent anymore, are you?"

"He is a virgin, he has to be!"

Well Melanie, I don't think so.

I guess Allison says something else but I feel so numb that I finally land completely by the dirt and stay there, all I see is a not so pleasing view of the group coughing and whining in pain.

"You fucking stud, Cole." Max exclaims cheerfully.

"I'm not even mad bro, respect!" The shirtless guy hits his chest before he falls to his knees just like the others.

Every single one of them has their skin peeling off and burning specks can be seen from what I get to witness.

But the best part is when Melanie let's out a last high pitched scream before popping like a bubble and fading into steam.

"Ha! There you go, bitch"

Cole finally leaves that weird seat and approaches me once more, this time lifting me up from the dusty ground to place me close to his chest, my head lays on his shoulder and his hand goes to brush some strands of hair from my face.

"Nicole, say something. What happened before I got here?"

"I don't know, it feels weird" I say but refrain myself to say anything else as my throat turns dry.

"She isn't supposed to be here, our friend Nicole here, is a wish that actually came true. But from a cult like this one"

That's not possible, my mom might be a witch but never once mentioned something like this, I've been on their meetings before, but-
