The rain was dreadful as it showed no mercy raining down in a specific region in Japan. It was certainly an unexpected beating of water considering the sunny moments before high school was dismissed for today. For a certain model/basketball player, Kise Ryota, this wasn't the condition he really liked. Some of his fans had over stayed their uninvited visit to his training with Kaijou. Considering his usual meet and greet routine had failed, he was resorted to running.

Luck certainly wasn't on his side that day as in only a matter of minutes it was like a monsoon was pouring down on them. The rush of the run and the desparation to escape his beloved fan girls caused him to end up in a rather foreign area in which let him to realize he was lost. Thus why he was standing under a small shelter in his now soaked school uniform. No one was walking around in the area chosing the safe and smart decision of staying inside until the rain proved to be safe.

"Just my luck..." Kise whined childishly as he furiously shook his blond locks to shake out the water. He sighed as he looked at the empty roads silently wishing he had tamer fans that knew when to give him space. He looked up at the patch of blue that was slowly being devoured by the rest of the grey clouds. The sight was kind of depressing and Kise couldn't help but compare that patch to his situation.

Kise flicked some more water out from his hair and leaned against the wall, watching as the water pelted against the concrete boredly. He stood there for a couple of minutes yet it felt like hours, the rain wasn't giving in. Kise wished that by coincidence Kurokocchi or anyone would walk by with an un umbrella and allow him to go home.

But it wasn't anyone he knew that answered his 'prayer'.

As he squinted his honey eyes, he saw someone in the distance gradually coming closer to him. Their most prominent feature; the umbrella they carried. The distance was shortened in no time and stood in front of him was a girl dressed in sweat pants, a sports bra with a towel around her neck and a bottle in her empty hand.

Strands fell and framed her face as the rest of her chocolate hair was in a high ponytail. She took a mouthful of water before she crouched and put her umbrella over Kise's head, allowing herself to be drenched.

"How long have you been here?" She asked kindly as she observed the thoroughly drenched high school freshman who seemed familiar.

Kise smiled thankfully and stood from the ground making the girl hand to tip toe to get the umbrella to continue shading him, "Just a couple of minutes." Kise was quite happy someone came to his aid and took the umbrella to make covering both of them easier. She didn't complain.

Though she frowned, "A couple of minutes? You're drenched though!" She exclaimed surprised before she wiped her sweaty face with her towel, "Gheez...Come out of dance to see this." She whispered to herself before looking up at the attractive blond.

She took note of what he was wearing, "Eh? You go to my school?" She questioned comically shocked as she jumped away surprised. This action threw her into the rain so she reluctantly went back next to Kise. Kise was shocked too but managed to simply blink many times...before he mimicked her action unintentially.

"Eh?! You go to Kaijou High? How come I've never seen you before?!" Kise wasn't trying to purposely sound like a social butterfly but he did know a lot of the school, especially his fellow freshman and seniors.

The stranger shrugged half-heartedly and sighed, "Hmph. Even so, it is against my morals to leave someone out in the rain. Do you want me to walk you home...?" Kise noticed the reversal of roles seeing as the boy usually walks the girl home. It was her umbrella though and she'd want it back so it made perfect sense.

''Even so'? What is that supposed to mean?' Kise thought as he observed the sweaty female beside him, "Sure! Thanks..." Regardless of his thoughts, he smiled charmingly at the girl who was soon to be named.
