I want him back...

Nico wondered what he did so unforgiving towards the Solace boy. But nothing came into mind except images of the hurt healer. Nico couldn't forgive himself for making Will cry and he wished he could somehow make things better but he just didn't know how. Hades once told Nico he wanted the young boy to be an exception. However, it didn't make things better, Nico felt so furious, he felt a sense of unfairness...

On the other side, Will plopped on a bed with Kayla comforting him. "It's okay Will", whispered Kayla.

However, Will knew it wasn't okay. He felt deep down, he kinda understood Di Angelo's sincerity but on the other hand, Nico had talked about those hurtful things right in front of him, in person. That, he couldn't forget...

Someone knocked on the infirmary door a few minutes later...

Not Nico, please, thought Will. He didn't want to see the son of Hades right that moment.

"Can I come in?" asked a voice.

It doesn't sound like Nico, thought Will.

"Yeah you can", croaked Will.

The door flew open and there appeared a tall figure with blonde hair and blue eyes like Will's. However, it was the lightning boy, Jason. He looked around for a while and asked, "Where's Nico?"

Will suddenly remembered Nico's words from the day before.

"Why do you ask? " scowled Will.

"Woah, easy on the glares there bro. Nico was just so excited about you asking help from him and I just came by to see how the situation's going", replied Jason.

"Or look at how crazy I'm going" muttered Will.

"Hey, so what actually happened here?" asked Jason.

Kayla explained everything from head to toe, why Will was acting that way and how Nico was acting since the day before.

Jason listened thoroughly and when Kayla finished explaining, he spoke up, "Well, according to what I know, Nico definitely isn't behaving like what you've described. We all know he's hard to please but man, you've missed out big time."

"What do you mean?" scowled Will. "I was there at that time! Maybe you should've seen how the little brat was acting then you can stand up for him all you want. I was in love with that boy Grace! And all he said was whether I could handle heartaches or not. How could he?!" cried Will.

"Aw man...look Will, I don't know what you've seen but until yesterday, he's been talking all about you and how much he loves you and how much he wants you to be with him, like forever actually. But he never once said he hates you or wants to see you suffer. Kayla mentioned Nico falling for me right? How could it be, Nico originally had his eyes on you ever since the war with Gaea!" exclaimed Jason. "Nico just doesn't have his way with words and you could say, he's dense but I promise on River Styx, he would NEVER hurt you nor would he ever fall in love with me, okay Solace? Try talking to him again, according to what I've heard, you just shut him out and shooed him away right? Call him back and settle this down bro, you know better than this." advised Jason.

"I still can't trust the guy. Maybe you wouldn't believe because he's been faking his emotions in front of you, so handy in these kind of situations where a friend would stick up with you and clear all misunderstanding but I don't and won't trust Di Angelo ever again", replied Solace.

"Man, I thought you were a Sunshine like Nico described but wow...you too can get angry huh? Okay, seems like I can't involve myself further than this but remember, Nico's clean about this and he's sincere about his feelings towards you like how I've described. Just don't make things worse for him okay? You'll know what I'm talking about when the time comes. Take good care Will", winked Jason and left the infirmary.

Don't make things worse? thought Will. He was the one suffering and now, he got lectured by?

"Will, you have to calm down and sleep for a while okay? You're tired from curing those patients and let's have you some rest okay?" Kayla spoke up.

The conch horn blew and it meant all campers needed to be there for a serious meeting.

Will and Kayla came out of the infirmary and so did all other campers.

"What's going on?" whispered other campers and rushed off to the meeting place.

When all of them arrived, Chiron said "Nico has been missing for the past hour and traces of him led to the woods which was around the forbidden parts. Campers are told to stay safe and are not to wonder around the woods for a few weeks but Nico is most likely to be lost in the woods and we have to prepare a rescue team for him. However, a maximum of 2 can only set off to find the poor child. Any volunteers?"

Will got immediately worried. He then hesitated for a while and thought, I'm not going.

Jason and Percy raised their hands at the same time. "Then, we have it. You can start the search now, and good luck boys", said Chiron worriedly.

Jason and Percy rushed off to the woods just after Chiron's speech.

Will felt a surge of guilt washing over. Was it his fault that Nico ran off to the woods? He told him to get out of his sight but that didn't mean he had to go to the woods. He felt worried but angry at the same time.

Will went back to his Cabin this time and decided to have some rest after so much drama and heartbreak.

Meanwhile, in the woods, Nico was safe and sound with the help of the dryads and nymphs. "I want him back" whispered the poor lonely child, and fell asleep...

A few minutes later, in camp, a girl named Lyssa from the Hecate cabin appeared magically in Cabin 7 and said, "Will Solace, we need to talk."
