Chapter 2 (Part 3)

It is finally time to get back to school and Libra has dropped me at the gate. We kiss and I rush to class. I'm late very day to school but you know how I get out of trouble. I run into Avani and all she says is :"Hi. I hope you better, sis." I don't reply , I roll my eyes and get to class. Mrs Jade is so angry at how Im late at all times. I see she's wearing black and it finally comes to me that she's a widow now."Mshindi, how was your stay in the hospital my step child?" Huh?! Step what? Then it runs back to me again. Jade and I are related. Yooh!

I don't even want to think about it anymore right now. Im done with that honestly. I sit with Jhene and we hug for a long time until I start to cry on the inside. " Babe. How are you? Like where is your father? How are things?" I just burst into tears right there and then. I only cry when Libra is around. Not around anyone else. 

I run to the toilet and Mrs Jade follows Jhene and I. "Jhene!" Her voice echoes into the toilets and into the valleys outside. She finally finds us in the last toilet and she bangs the door open with the hinges broken."Jhene. Leave. Now. I will calm this girl down." Jhene leaves and rolls her eyes while she's on it.

"Bitch, look here. Your fake tears don't mean a thing to me. Your mentally ill father killed my husband. Now look here, its either your family leave this town and go to another country or your all dead."

 Im dead. I'm laughing so hard, I cant feel it anymore. She seems not to care about me laughing and so she carries on with her death speech. " Do you know why his dead? Your hoe for a mother admitted to sleeping with him. He lost it and killed my man." "And so what does it have to do with me?" "Your family, needs to die."

I'm in the movies now. She's a villan and I'm the hero now. " You cant kill me even if you try. We have the best hitman you could ever ask for. We'll kill you first, Mam." I push her head into the toilet and flush it. I then walk out and check the time. Its 11:55am. Physical science. Yes!! Its Mr X and I know he takes half the lesson to get to class. I walk to his office and tell him what I did and then... You know what I do next. The while lesson ends and the bell rings. Its break and Jhene is waiting for me at the toilet, impatiently. " I was busy." I say to her and she knows what I mean.
