Part 1.5

Time passed again and this particular evening Jimin had asked me to join the crew for drinks. There was a brand new supply of rum and it was normal to celebrate that evening by getting super wasted on that supply. Unfortunately the captain didn't join.

We were talking about everything and anything. I was mainly listening to all their crazy stories, Jimin's stories about all the girls he had "enjoyed". Some involved Taehyung as well, logical as Jimin knew Taehyung for years already.

  'So why is the captain so distant and cold?' I asked as it was something I wanted to know. All three of them looked at each other dubiously

   'what fucks up most men?' Jungkook finally asked me

I looked at them puzzled

   'Rum?'

They all laughed. 

    'No love of course.'

   'He was in love?' I asked still puzzled and slightly jealous. 

Jimin nodded 'I told him it was stupid, love drives you insane, but he did anyways. the girl was taken by your brother when we were in Jeju, we all managed to escape but she didn't. Taehyung searched for her for a year but there was nothing.'

  'You think my brother killed her? That is why he hates him so much?' I asked intrigued by the story and in a way sad for Taehyung

Jimin nodded 'how else would she survive, you know abiding a pirate is a death sentence as well, we haven't heard from her since that moment.'

  'He really loved her, and after losing her he changed' Jungkook added. 

   'I am sorry' I said looking at them. 

  'I guess you can't be held accountable for your brothers actions though' Soobin indicated. 

Jimin nodded in agreement  'but yeah that's why he hates Jin, your brother took the girl he loved away from him two years ago, and his ship as well by the way'

I took another big sip. My body filled up with this uneasy or guilty feeling. I really wanted to talk about something else. 

   'So Jimin back to you' I said 'is that why you sleep with everything that has a vagina, but never commit?'

 Jimin choked on his rum while Soobin and Jungkook laughed out loud 'very well spotted darling, love gives you a headache while sex on the other hand is healthy and takes headaches away.'

   'It's a simple choice if you ask me.'

I rolled my eyes listening to Jimin's logic but also slightly chuckling. Jimin put his arm around me. 

    'And what about you y/n, you have big words but you are a virgin aren't you?'

It became quiet, my cheeks flustered.  'awh you embarrassed her' Soobin chuckled. 

   'You really are an innocent, aren't you?' Jimin laughed.

    'I did have my first kiss' I replied while crossing my arms. 

     'Oh wowwwww' Jimin exclaimed 'a round of applause for y/n for this achievement, I stand correct you are not innocent you are a true badass.'

Jimin's sarcasm made me laugh while playfully hitting him. My first kiss had been with Felix, we were both wondering what it would be like and for fun tried it, it wasn't romantic or anything but just to try.

 We all retired to our rooms but I was so drunk, I couldn't sleep. The story of Taehyung's girlfriend and my brother replayed in my mind. I always looked up to Jin, he couldn't do anything wrong. But he also murdered people, although there is the law and my brother makes sure the law is respected.

I just wasn't all too sure if there was a good and bad side anymore. I left my room, wandering over the deck in the dark.

The weird thing is that I also couldn't say I missed my old life. I had been here for some weeks now and I heard so many fascinating stories, but above all I felt free, which in itself was very ironic considering I was in captivity. but living with Jin, he always held me away from any danger or anything unknown for that matter.

     'y/n?' I heard Taehyungs beautiful voice behind me.

     'AYE cawptainn'

    'Are you okay?' he asked. 

    'I know whyyy you haete my brwother so much' I said while pointing at him stumbling a bit.

     'They told you?'

     'yeahhhh, I am sorry you lowst your love.'

     'You're drunk' he stated.

     ' Thwats well spowtedd, you must be thew captain.'

He chuckled  while walking closer.

    'I think you should go to bed y/n'

I looked down fumbling with my hands. 

   'I always thought piratwes were the worst cwrminals ewver, but the longer I awm here the more I like all of you.'

   'You do?'

   'oh that was a secwet, dont tell anywone please'

Taehyung smiled, but it was a genuine smile.

    'youre very prwetty when you smwile' I said and stumbled again but this time I tripped over my own feet. 

Surprisingly, I didn't hit the ground

I was caught by Taehyung and he held me in his arms. 

    'you're silly' he said

I giggled 'you caughwt me.' He put my back on my feet but we were so close now. My eyes trailed to his lips.

What would it feel like to kiss those lips?

 Taehyung pov

The attraction I felt towards y/n was undeniable, but she was drunk and most importantly I would not complicate this situation. She was here as a hostage.

   'Come on, let's walk to your room' I suggested reaching out my arm which she took.

The weird thing was that since y/n was on the ship, it seemed the void I felt inside was slowly filling.
