Part 3.8

Jin pov

There was finally a moment I could face Hoseok alone. As soon as I was close I harshly pushed him

-'what the hell was that, you fucking shot my sister'

-'calm down, she wanted to leave with those pirates'

-'yeah she is confused'

-'I know that, that is why it was only a flesh wound, we could treat her and she will at least be here and this hopeless search would be over'

-' yea but she isn't here is she?, what's the chance she survives there even if it is only a flesh wound'

-'yeah well where did that Taehyung guy come from?'

-'I don't know'

-'look Jin, we will get her back'

- 'if you haven't killed her yet'

y/n pov

I woke up dazed

where was I? what had happened?

I wanted to sit up but grunted as a sharp pain emerged in my shoulder.

I was shot

Taehyung had saved me

-'y/n'

The little curtain was moved aside and he appeared rushing towards me

'how are you feeling?' he asked agitated

'like I've been shot?' I replied and the corners of his lips curled up a bit

- 'I can't believe Hoseok shot me' I let out as I remembered he was the one who actually fired the gun

- 'how were you there?' I asked confused

he looked away 'Yoongi and Jimin told me'

'oh'

-'how could you endanger yourself like that?' he then asked

'I just couldn't let anyone die because of me' I answered

-'I understand that but sacrificing yourself isn't the way'

- 'but I am alright, see' I said while opening my arms with a smile, which broke pretty quick as the movement increased the pain in my shoulder

Taehyung didn't smile, his face was sad, filled with pain, he gazed at me and took a deep breath

-'if you make plans with other people behind my back, how can I ever trust you?'

A lump formed in my throat and tears filled my eyes

-'I don't know' I indicated

Taehyung looked away

-'you can't' I added as it was the truth,

I thought I was doing the right thing to save Jimin but consequently I destroyed the trust that the man I loved had in me

Taehyung stood up slowly, and he turned around. I wanted to ask him to stay but it was as if I couldn't speak and so I watched him walk away.

Not long after Jimin and Yoongi came in

-'hey' I tried to smile at them but my heart felt heavy after the talk with Tae

-'y/n, we wanted to thank you for saving us' Yoongi started

-'you don't need to thank me' I said

they exchanged a certain look

-'how uhm how did the captain take it? he didn't seem well' Jimin had his eyes towards the ground

I swallowed

-'I am afraid he won't forgive me' I tried to keep strong but I was at the verge of breaking into tears. Jimin took my hand.

-'he needs time y/n. I think after Nari he already has trust issues so this wasn't a great move on your behalf. I am thankful for it as it saved me and especially cause it saved Yoongi, but yeah'

Time passed and gradually I could walk around,

Taehyung didn't really talk to me though, he didn't even sleep in the same bed anymore, he was giving me a solid silent treatment

Taehyung pov

I was looking over de deck as usual, and as usual I couldn't refrain myself from following y/ns every move. We haven't really spoken in days. Min-ji informed me about her health though because that was very important to me. I was just upset about her actions, and honestly I wasn't too sure how to fix this. She broke my trust, but damn I missed her.

I was looking at how she was reading something when she suddenly looked up and her eyes met mine. I quickly looked away.

It was almost dinner time and I retreated to my chambers to have dinner.

The door opened and y/n stepped in. She hasn't done that during dinner time since our argument, she would just eat with the crew.

-'y/n' I said

-'tae' she came closer

- 'when are you going to talk to me again?'

I didn't respond because mainly I didn't have a good reply.

y/n pov

He still wouldn't say something

-'Tae, this is killing me more then the hole in my shoulder'

-'that hole has been stitched' he replied

-' you get the point don't you?' I rolled my eyes

-'just I understand that you are hurt or upset or disappointed by what I did, but you cant just keep those feelings inside and ignore them and in that way ignore me. if you are angry with me then talk to me. you said you wanted to see me grow old. A relationship can't work if you shut me out'

I kind of let all out, all the frustration and feelings I kept inside the last few days. I just really missed him and I couldn't take this ignoring anymore.

but still there was only silence

I caressed his face, 'just say something' I sighed frustrated

but as his face was unchanged I gave up, and I was about to leave when he grabbed my wrist

-'don't go' 

 -'then tell me what I can do to make this better' I replied

-'the thing is that I am hurt and angry and I feel so fragile when it comes to you. you are the only one that can hurt me like this'

-'what makes you angry'

-'the fact you endangered yourself when I already had to endure losing you once, I am angry that you chose my enemy to make plans with instead of trusting me, and I am angry at myself for letting you'

With every reason he stepped forwards which meant I stepped backwards, there was this anger visible in his entire body. On one hand it scared me but on the other I knew he wouldn't hurt me.

-'and I am sorry' I raised my voice to make him understand

-'but those are words and words mean nothing, its your actions y/n' he hit the wall next to my face out of frustration 

'I cannot change the past Tae, so tell me what I can do now, because I love you more than anything but what should I have done? If I did nothing Jimin and Yoongi were dead by now. I can't say how sorry I am but if we can't get passed this maybe I should leave, go back to my brother and ensure your safety once and for all'

-'what? no!' Taehyung shouted

-'Then can you please let this go cause I can't take it to see you everyday without talking to you, without touching you' I shouted back

Instead of saying anything he grabbed the back of my neck bringing my face on his while our lips connected. It was different from the other times that was for sure. There was a certain frustration or heightened passion in the way he touched me and the way he made love to me.
