y/n pov

It was so different on Yoongi's ship, I was kept in the cell instead of a room. they brought me food instead of giving me the freedom to have food with them. Except for the two days in a week Yoongi asked me for dinner. It was rather strange, what was it with captains and having dinner with their female captives?  

   'So y/n, why did you free Taehyung?' He suddenly asked while we were having dinner. 

I put down my fork

   'Because I love him.'

It wasn't something I was shy to admit. 

    'I thought you were smart but now I have my doubts. '

I rolled my eyes  'sure'

     'I mean you had everything, comfort, no danger, expensive stuff, food, education.'

     'You might be right, but the more time I spend on Taehyungs ship the more I also felt that those things came with a prize, I was always kept from everything. I had never left Busan because according to my brother it was "too dangerous", I never had the feeling of being in love, I never had the experience of making love, I was prepped my entire life to be shipped off to be married to a person I didn't even know. You know how often someone asked me what I would want?'

There was a silence, I was aware of the fact I just kind of let out all my frustration on this person I hardly knew. Yoongi inspected my face but didn't answer my question.

     'Never, does that sound comfortable to you?' I asked. 

There was a silence again and I took a sip of my rum.

     'So princess, what do you want?'

 I choked on the drink

     'What?' I asked as I stared at him. 

    'I guess nobody indeed ever asked you that question, I asked what do you want?'

     'I uh, freedom?'

He rolled his eyes.

   'You know I will not let you go princess.'

   'That's not what I meant, I mean the ability to walk around the deck. In exchange for my promise not to escape?'

He was contemplating then he looked into my eyes.

    'Okay'

    'Okay?' I was so confused.  Was he seriously just being okay with this? He nodded

     'Oh so in the case you are being generous, is there a possibility to change into something else? like another dress or men's clothing for all I care, just something else.'

I quickly asked, I knew I was pushing a limit here but I hated the clothes.

     'You don't like your expensive dress?'

I shook my head, it was from home, the first thing the maids put in place when I arrived back in my room as if it mattered so much what I wore, apparently it did.

    'Sure, that can be arranged.'

    'Thank you'

    'Really' I added because I was feeling grateful.

Yoongi didn't reply on my thanks

Jungkook pov

Min-ji asked me to come to her room and that was unexpected as we tried to keep a low profile. I knocked three times on the door, as a sort of secret password. she quickly opened up and pulled me in. She pushed me down on the bed crawling on top of me. I smirked.

    'I thought you wanted to be careful' I said while my hand went under her dress already. As I looked in her eyes I saw there was something different and before I could ask her about it she had pulled a knife and held it to my neck.

   'What are you doing?' I asked startled, partly scared and partly still wondering if this was something sexually stimulating she wanted to try.

It was her expression that gave away there was something wrong and I should definitely be scared.

    'Is it you?' she then asked. 

    'Is me what?'

    'The traitor.'

 My heart started racing, it was so unexpected that I couldn't hide my true emotions. She pushed the knife further against my neck, feeling the blade scratching my neck.

  'Oh my god, it is you'

The emotions displayed on her face broke my heart;

She found out

    'How did you know?' I asked trying to reach for her as I felt the need and the automatic reaction to comfort her when she was hurt.

She pushed me back

     'Stay the fuck down or I put this knife deeper into your throat.'

I felt how her body trembled above mine, shaken up by my betrayal.

     'I saw Namjoon, when I was walking in Yeosu and I thought it was already odd, what a coincidence that Yoongi's right hand man was in Yeosu at the exact same time that my brother was there. and then they were moved to Busan and y/n was taken by Yoongi in Busan, how did they even know Tae loved her? it was clear someone was informing them, you left the ship in Busan, and y/n told me you suddenly disappeared in Jeju.'

    'I can explain Min-ji.'

     'How' there was a tear rolling over her cheek, 'I trusted you'

     'I know and I am sorry, it's just. My father and I worked with Yoongi, but my father tried to betray him and for that there is a death sentence. I was able to save my father in exchange to become a spy on this ship. Keeping Yoongi informed about the things that happened here. I hate it Min-ji, I really do. Taehyung is my friend and I care for him and for the whole crew for that matter. and then I met you and I fell in love and the toll that my betrayal took became more and more but I made a promise to save my father and in that way my family.'

She took the knife from my throat.

    'I don't know what to believe anymore.'

This time I brought my hand to her cheek making her face me.

   'Know that I love you and that I am sorry'

She nodded

   'I believe you but you are going to help me save y/n' she then indicated and we talked that night about all the possibilities.

What we both didn't know was that Jimin had followed me and heard the entire conversation

The next day during breakfast Taehyung stormed in and immediately hit me hard in the face making me fall down towards the ground.

   'You' he growled out. 

    'You were the one that betrayed me!'

    'You told them about y/n, about her plan so that they could take her?'

Taehyung was shouting in anger and I felt a kick in my stomach. He drew his sword and I knew that this probably was the last moment I had on this earth.

   'STOP'

We all trailed the voice with our eyes, Min-ji came running to me placing herself in front of me as a human shield.

    'What are you doing? he is a traitor ' 

    'Yes he is but I love him'
