Rosie and I walked to her car side by side while linking each other, until Rosie came to a stop making me stop with her. She looked at my Dad's car in my driveway with her eyebrows arched then rubbed her chin. "Umm, isn't the Mr. Parker car, the School principal?" she asks. I tried to pull her along to her car to get her to forget about the car so I wouldn't need to say anything. "No, it is not. Just come on we're going to be late for the game" I said while laughing getting to the car.

"Wait, is your Mom like dating the School principal or something?" Rosie clinked her car keys to open the door to let us in the car.

"No. she not"

Once we were settled in the car, Rosie started her car angle engine but before she started to dive her eyes became fixed on something in the front window, our mailbox readout (The Parkers). Rosie turned her head as if she had gotten whiplash.

"Holy shit, Mr. Parker is your Dad" and there it was, the one piece of information I'd never wanted to get out, was out. I stay silent but still looking out the window ahead of me. I was unsure what to say so I just nodded my head.

"Why didn't you tell me "it was my turn to look at Rosie in shock. "Like the way you never told me what happened between you and Jaxon" I could see on the look on Rosie's face she wasn't expecting my answer. She didn't say anything instead she started to dive heading to the game at School while both of us stayed quiet. A few minutes later my phone went off on my lap, as another message came in from Jaxon.

J. (Of course you are 😉. Every-time you're around me I'm in a good mood, so with you being here tonight, put me in a good mood. So, we could win tonight.)

As I read the text my lips broke into smiles, that I could not take off my face. Maybe I have the same effect on him that he has on me. Once that thought

crossed my mind, a laugh fell out of me. there's no way Jaxon would think of me like that. Rosie looked at my phone, she must have seen the text from Jaxon.

"Does Jaxon know?" she asks out of nowhere still having her eyes glued to the road. "No, no one does. What would it look like if people found out the new girl with a disability, who is also the daughter of the new School principal. They would just think I got into the School because of my Dad. I'd say Mia would have a filled day with that one." Rosie stopped at a light then turned to look at me while taking a hold of my free hand.

"Well you could've told me," she says softly. The traffic slowly began going again, as I kept looking at Rosie diving, I realized I should've told her. She has been there for me, if it weren't for her I would have no one at this School. "I know," I say then begin writing out my text to Jaxon

A. (I can't wait to see you to scoring that winning point then)

I look at the message to see if that is ok. "Ally I would tell you why I'm so hard on Jaxon, but it is not my secret to tell" she shrugs her shoulders while giving me a sad smile. I stared at her again as her eyes soon returned to the road. What did Rosie mean? We get to the School parking lot, and we can already see a crowd of people from the football filled with echoes of the School marching back playing. I did not know the song they were playing.

Rosie comes to my side at the front of her car. "You won't tell anyone right" she didn't say anything, only a slight smile appeared on her lips, then she held out her pinkie thank give me a flash-back to when my Grandmother used to do it with me. I hooked my pinkie around hers while we both laughed.

"I'm here for you Ally" I nodded my head agreeing with her because she was.

We made it to the and the crowd was already on fire with excitement. Cheering, clapping and the game hasn't even started yet. I smiled to myself being overwhelmed by everything. I never saw anything like it in front of my own eyes. I thought they only exist in movies.

Rosie spotted Megan on one of the benches, we made our way over to the spot she saved for us while the School Marching band finished off their set.

"Hi," Megan said in excitement.

Once we took our seats beside her. The cheerleaders took their places to begin their cheer, the rival team cheerleaders started the cheer on the other side. From the corner eye, I see the football team start to come out, the crowd roared with cheer while jumping and down.

All the guys looked up at the crow as smiles spread on their faces then looked the other side giving the rival team dirty looks.

"Are you excited?" Rosie asks, giving it a quick side hug. I nodded then I couldn't but let my eyes draw back to the field, I still haven't seen Jaxon yet. So, my eyes scanned through the players until I saw him. It didn't take long to find him as it seemed how he was the tallest player on the team.

He was standing there running his hand through his dark hair looking nervous while talking to Ethan, He looked so cute while talking to Ethan. Ethan went off calling some guy names. Jaxon looked up at the benches taking the crowd in, once his eyes found mine, and gave me that killer smile I love and then a quick wink, my smile mirrors his. A group a girl's called Jaxon pulled us out of our stare-off. Jaxon jogged over to them, talking to them as I watched them I couldn't help but sadness takes over me, as I realized Jaxon would never go for a girl like me, he wants a perfect girl who has problems with herself, and I who had to have a disability they make my life hard for the last 16 and a half years. So, my life was easy at all. and I wasn't ever going to be that perfect girl for Jaxon. I needed to take in that Jaxon will never feel for me, what I feel for him.

The cheerleaders finished off the cheer while the coach pep talk team, soon later the team spread out on the field with the other team. We were in blue and gold while the other team was in red and white. Just before the game started Rosie stood up cheering Ethan's name while clapping then ending it by blowing him a kiss, everyone looked back at Rosie giving her weird looks, but Rosie brushed them off while laughing, Megan and I joined her.

The game has been going on for almost 2 hours including halftime. It was 36-36 making the game a draw. Both teams were on fire tonight. I didn't get much of what was going on during the game, so most times I was asking Rosie questions about what was going on. There were 5 minutes left in the game, the team who scored the next goal wins. The guys ran around chasing each other for the ball until it came to countdown. The crowd starts to count from 15, everyone at this game was on the edge of their seats to see who was going to score the winning point.

"COME ON!!!!!" Rosie screams at the top of her lungs.

When everyone got to 5 Jaxon got to the end of the field and at the last second Jaxon scored the winning touchdown as a loud horn went off letting everyone know time was up.
