Beginning bade

Chapter 5

Over the next three weeks beck asked her out every chance he got

He had finally convinced her to eat lunch with the three sometimes four of them everyday so after second block he would walk to her locker to meet her and they would walk outside together

Well he considered it together but she didn't because it was really just them walking a meter apart and him trying to have a decent conversation which was usually just a lot of yes's and no's from her or nothing at all

He'd ask her when he saw her walk into school in the morning or when they walked to lunch at her now scissor covered locker

He wasn't trying to sound annoying, god he hoped he wasn't being annoying he just wanted to figure out what had happened at school before she came to this school but knew if he asked her straight up he'd be promptly injured by her

He still really liked her and could barely take his eyes off her, luckily the seats they'd had on the first day were the seats they were stuck in for the whole year. Most kids hated theirs cause they chose them without thinking but beck loved his because it meant a whole year next to the beautiful girl he adored

He'd even tried to ask her to hang out-just as friends of course but that never worked either because she still suspected it was a date

One day him and Andre and Robbie had decided to spend the Saturday coming up together doing whatever they wanted. Cat had invited herself since they had planned it at lunch she'd stopped by and so it only felt right to invite jade. Andre and Robbie didn't really want her there but they also didn't want the consequences so after a lot of attempted convincing from beck and cat about how nice she was-they didn't believe it for a second but finally on Friday after noon they gave in.

Beck wanted to be the one to ask her- Andre and Robbie really didnt mind m. So he quickly rushed to find jade after school and caught her just as she was about to leave her locker

"Hey, hey jade?" He yelled jogging after her

"What?!"

"I was wondering if you wanted to hang out on Satur-

"Beck I'm not going to go out with you !" She exclaimed whirling finally around with traces of frustration in her voice

"No I wasn't going to ask that, me and Andre and Robbie and I guess cat are gonna like go see a movie and then go for lunch or something on Saturday and I wanted to invite you" he explained while her eyes still glinted with anger because he was wasting her time

"You wanted to invite me or they did"

Beck smiled sheepishly and blushed a bit"Well it took some convincing but we all want you to come"

Jade didn't smile back

"No"

"Oh come on it'll be real fun" he begged "please please please for me?"

"Don't beg it sounds stupid and No im not going because you're the only one who wants me ther-

"Jadey!"

Jade grimaced at the nickname cat has just given her

"did beck ask you to come see a movie with us are you coming" she asked running over laughing

"No im not"

"What why? Please pleasey please pleaseeeee" she begged even more than beck

Jade stood with her arms crossed before letting out a loud sigh and giving in. Cat squealed and hugged her quickly before scampering off to who knows where

"Why'd you say yes to her and not me" he pouted turning to her after he watched her run off

"Because she's not being annoying and asking me to go on a date every 10 minutes"

"But will you?" He asked grinning cheekily and adjusting his bad on his shoulder

"You're unbelievable." She muttered before walking out the doors to leave

Beck knew he should've felt hurt that he just got called annoying and unbelievable but he didn't. All he felt was excitement and happiness for tomorrow, it may or be a date but he has still kinda managed to get her to hang out
