Chapter 8

When beck got home he had 4 hours to make himself presentable for the date

He knew he had one shot and one shot only and could not mess it up because if he did then there would be no more dates

Beck wanted another date

A lot

He took a quick shower so his hair would have enough time to dry then after he was done he dried his hair and body with a towel before grabbing his clothes he had grabbed before he went in

He chose his black jeans with chains on them and one of his many flannels, then he grabbed his combats boots and the ring his uncle gave him after he moved to LA.

After he was dressed and ready he went to his mirror to restyle his hair and make it all fluffy and nice before tidying up his RV just in case. He grabbed the car magazines that were strewn on the floor and folded up some laundry and took the rest into his house so his mom could wash it

After his RV looked satisfactory he still had 30 minutes until he had to leave to take the bus again so he plunked down on his bed and lay there thinking

Thinking about the girl he had been trying so hard to get to go on a date with for he past 4 weeks

Thinking about how he longed to see that smile and spark in her eyes again like he had on Saturday

And just thinking about how lucky he was

He sat up quickly realizing that he needed to leave now if he wanted to get to her house in time so her checked he had everything then grabbed money for his-and her ice cream before sprinting out the door

On the way home jade has been trying to decide what she would wear because like she thought before- she hadn't been on a date in a long time with someone she liked So she was really excited but knew she'd have to play it cool and chill

She tore apart her room for almost an hour before deciding that simple would be best and grabbing her black skirt and a black Lacey top

She took a very quick shower but didn't bother to dry her hair because she knew she'd blow dry it in minutes

She got dressed then sat down at her vanity to do her usual Smokey eyed look and dry her damp hair then stuck in her coloured streaks which she'd taken out for the shower

She opened the drawers of her vanity to find the perfect pieces of statement jewelry. She chose her necklace with a scissor charm and a simple gold and silver chain, then she grabbed some bangles and random little rings

She heard the door bell ring while she was slipping the last rings on so she clomped down the stairs in her doc martins to meet beck
