Beck had gotten very lucky and scored many more dates with her and on their fifth date he finally asked her to be his girlfriend

She'd blushed a bit when he asked but quickly stopped and replied with a simple yes

He was extremely thankful he didn't have to ask 30 times

They had their first kiss five months in at becks RV after he had taken her out for dinner on Valentine's Day. Cliche yes but it just made sense although jade hated that it was

And their first I love you at almost a year in on her birthday after they had celebrated all day

All of their friends were a little but skeptical of them dating at first but eventually got used to it and realized how perfect they were together and how they balanced each other out

He was calm and laid back, she was not

He was kind and caring or others, she definitely was not

He could also calm her down way faster than anyone else in their friend group so he saved their butts a bunch of times when she came close to swinging on them

They were going a year strong with almost no issues just a few of jade getting jealous but other than that nothing major but there as still on burning question in the back of becks mind

They were sprawled in his RV on their phones scrolling through the slap

Beck was thinking about their anniversary coming up and how much it took to get to the point they were at now. He knew she had past problems that weren't good

"Hey babe?" He started, moving to sit next to her on the couch "remember how it took me 24 tries for you to go out with me?"

"Yes"

"Why were you so hesitant?"
"Why do you care?"
"Pleaseeee I've always wondered and I love you so much I just wanna know what happened at creek wood and stuff" he begged giving her a kiss

"You really wanna know?"
"If you're ready to tell them I'm ready to listen"

"Ok fine. I'll start from the very beginning"
