Pod 1 found a cave within an hour of their exploration starting. Kandor turned on the flashlight attached to his helmet and looked around.
Matias caught up to him and smacked his arm. "See anything, Blue?"

"Nothing special. Where's Purple?"
"Here," Raha responded, coming up behind them. "I hate this f***ing planet. This cave looks ominous."
"Should we go in?" Kandor's smile glinted.
"Are you insane?!" Raha and Matias exclaimed in unison.

"What? It's just some plants," He retorted.
"Typical from a system and engineering expert. If you knew how scary plants could be, you'd know better." Raha shook her head.
Matias shrugged, "Purple's right."

"These plants are being a little weird." A fourth voice popped up behind them, making them jump.

"Pink? Where's the rest of your pod?"
"Back that way. I wandered a bit." Prem responded.

"A lot." Brown commented.
"These plants... seem to be changing rapidly." Raha said, holding a dark brown leaf in her hand. She put up a small machine to it. "And it stops at will. I wouldn't be shocked if these plants could change shape when necessary."
Kandor crossed his arms, "Seriously? Now I just want to enter this cave more."

"We should check it out," Prem nodded.
"Really? First time you've agreed with me." Kandor said in surprise.
Prem glanced at him in annoyance.

"Wait, Blue, are you serious...?" Matias' eyes widened.
"Brown, you can guard the entrance. Let us know if anything happens. We'll just go about twenty feet in." Raha told him.
"Not you too?"
"We'll be fine, buddy." Kandor put a hand on his shoulder.

Matias sighed and crossed his arms. The other three had not walked in a few feet that they felt the ground shift beneath them. It was almost imperceptible, but it felt like a little wave.

"Did you... feel that?" Raha said, grabbing Prem's arm to steady herself.
"Feel what?" He responded, confusion visible on his face."
"The goddamn ground... Pink...?" Kandor stopped as he looked between Prem and Raha. Raha looked up at Prem and immediately jumped backed. She was staring at herself; her own confused and fearful face in a purple suit exactly like her own.

Kandor stood shell-shocked, and the two Raha's looked at him in panic. "I—" The ground shook more violently this time, and finally, the sound of a thousand vines shifted rippled from deep within the cave towards them.
With all but a moment of hesitation, Kandor jumped and roundhouse kicked the Raha closer to him,, catching her by surprise. He grabbed the other Raha's arm and the two jumped over the fallen astronaut back towards the entrance. They heard the cave closing up behind them, and the two turned to see the fallen Raha grow into a grotesque blob that opened up at the midsection and whip out a disgustingly long and sharp tongue, aimed at them. Raha ducked in time, and the tongue didn't reach as another vine reached out to grab it midair and suck it into the wall of the cave, which was now writhing with the plants that were previously unassuming.

Kandor gasped as he turned back to see the creature get swallowed up by the cave as it let out a disgusting screech.
The two reached the entrance, where Matias was fiddling with some piece of technology in his hands. He suddenly jumped when the sound reached him, and he turned to see his crew mates sprinting towards him.

"Run! Brown!" Raha gasped, as the reached his spot. Without question, he broke out into a sprint alongside them. The three ran without stopping until all they could hear was the blood in their ears, and nothing else. A little late, the realized that the three had gotten separated.
"Blue here: anyone copy?" Kandor said breathlessly.
"Blue?! Brown here! I'm heading back towards the ship. Something's wrong with White."
"What?! Purple? Purple are you okay?"
The static went on for a beat too long, and Kandor swallowed in fear.

"Blue, I'm here. Please just head to the ship. I just ran into Black. Meet up with the others right now."

Just moments after, Chiedza's voice rang over the radio to everyone. "Emergency: Code 4! This is your captain, Black. Make your way back to the ship immediately. Hostile life discovered. Code 4! I repeat, Code 4!—", followed by total silence and everyone's radio refusing to work.

Jessica was the first one to arrive back at the ship, followed by Chantelle. Jessica walked up the ship ramp and stood to watch for others. Chantelle walked to around one of the wings of the gigantic ship, and saw Gan looking at a closed vent from outside.
"White? What are you doing out here?"
"Green? My helmet radio's been glitching. What's going on?"
"We need you in the nav room."

The last message from Chiedza came in before the radio went silent. The two looked grim and walked around to Jessica.
Matias reached next, looking completely out of breath. "Guys! There's..." he fell to the ground, his knees wobbling.
Simi and Assisi ran to them. "Brown? All good?" Assisi asked, helping him to his feet.

"No! The plants, they're..." before he could finish, a loud rustling was heard all around them. The plants all moved in the wind... except there was no wind. The crew realized with dawning horror that the plants were all blowing towards the ship at the center.
"Get inside! Go!" Kandor's voice carried from ten feet away as he emerged from some moving vegetation, in full sprint.
"Go go go!" He yelled again, stirring everyone to get up in a panic and run up the ramp to the ship.
"Where's Black?" Simi yelled, above the commotion.

A man in a pink suit poked out of the bushes and ran towards the ship in confusion.
"Prem?!" Matias and Kandor exclaimed in unison.
