Chapter 9: Candor or Dauntless

FOUR POV
Tris was wondering what Candor or Dauntless was. Uriah explained it to her, though. He said that we were going to play it after the party ends. I almost hate this game. The only part that's worth it is when someone refuses a dare or truth and they have to drink Dauntless powder, a crazy concoction of spices mixed in a small amount of water. The looks on their faces are priceless.
As people started leaving, the group started to congregate in the living room. We all sat in a circle starting with Zeke, Shauna, Uriah, Marlene, Tris, Me, and then Lynn, who had a cross look on her face. Nothing abnormal.
"Okay. To start, if you decide not to do what's asked of you then you have to drink Dauntless Powder. My house, I start." Says Zeke. "Uriah. Truth or dare?"
"DARE! I AIN'T NO PANSYCAKE!" Yells Uriah.
"I dare you to go over to the Bentley's house, put a pillow under your shirt, and tell Shelby's parents she got you pregnant."
"Challenge accepted." He runs upstairs and comes back with a fluffy baby-bump. He runs outside, supposedly towards the Bentley's house. He comes back screaming and holding his pillow. He also has a black eye.
"Eric was home, and he was not happy to see me on his doorstep." We all start cracking up. Eric is a total jerk who's at our school. Thankfully he's in Candor so we don't have to see him. "Tris. Truth or dare?"
"Uh... Dare?"she sounded unsure. Uriah thinks for a minute. Then his face lights up.
"I dare you... To go... Skinny dipping in Jenine Matthews' pool."
TRIS POV
"I dare you... To go... Skinny dipping in Jenine Matthews' pool." Great Four just dared me to go jump in my aunt's pool... in my underwear. Four just keeps getting worse and worse.
"Uh..." I try to find the words. I don't want my new friends are to think I'm a wimp and I definitely don't want Four thinking that.
"What, Tris, you're not a PANSYCAKE are you?" Says Four.
"No. It's just that skinny-dipping in my own pool is sort of lame."
"You LIVE with Jenine Matthews?" Asks Marlene.
"She's my Aunt."
"Party at your house next time. I hear the principal is loaded! Is it true she married the senator?" Zeke is elated. Probably thinking of all the party space.
"Yup. His name's Max. He seems cool, sorta intense, though." Everyone's jaw is agape.
"That's pretty awesome." Says Lynn.
"Wow a complement from Lynn? Tris must really impress you." Uriah says playfully punching her shoulder.
"Don't touch me, worm." Somehow Lynn is still lax.
"So is she gonna do the dare... Or feel the wrath of Dauntless Powder?" Four says, quite annoyingly.
