Tris POV
Aunt Jenine said that we should go straight into school this semester so we won't get left behind. So here I am in Faction High school's parking lot, thinking how to approach this situation. Caleb had already gone to his locker so I was here by myself. People filed into the same double doors as each other. Once I gather my thoughts I walk in. My being a junior, there were already lots of litttle groups of friends. Great.
I see a tall girl with long red hair come and stand directly in front of me. She looked like she wanted to talk. Awesome.
"Hi! You must be Beatrice. That's a great name. Can I call you Tris? That seems more fitting for you, even though I just met you." Wow, she talks a lot, but at least she seems nice. But then again looks can be deceiving.
"Yeah I'm Beatrice. I guess Tris is alright. Yeah, sure you can call me that. May I ask who you are?"
"Oh, I'm Marlene. I'm in most of your classes. The principal said I should show you around."
"We have English first, right?" She nodded. "Ok I guess we should get going?"
"Sure. Do you need to stop by your locker?" I nodded. After we stopped at my locker we headed to home room. As I rounded a corner I walked into a very firm person. Has he ever heard of watching where he's going?
"Excuse you. Mind watching where your going?" He scoffed and walked off. "Rude!" I yelled after him.
"Do you know who you just talked off to?" Marlene asked. I shook my head. "That's Four Eaton. He's probably the toughest most feared guy in school. He's the captain of almost any sport that's in season."
"Great so he knows to leave me alone now." she laughed at me.
"Your pretty kick-butt, Tris." And with that we went into class. School really isn't so bad.
