"Hey, Demyx! Ready for class today?" I turned around to see Axel approaching me, for once not smiling.

"Is something wrong?" I noticed how strange Axel really seemed to me.

"I can swim perfectly fine... But I just don't like water." Axel sighed as his normal smile appeared.

"How can you not like water?" I love swimming a lot, it's one of my favorite hobbies.

"It doesn't go well with the flame inside of me, you know? My fierce personality doesn't like it. Got it memorized?" Axel smirked at me as we entered the Gym.

"Maybe that will change today." I gave myself some hope that Axel would realize just how awesome swimming really is.

"Yeah, no." Axel blandly answered me as he ran over to the other side of the Gym, where Xion was.

"Swimming's fun." Roxas shrugged as he approached me after entering the Gym.

"Yeah, it's my favorite part of Gym!" I smiled, remembering how good it was in all of the previous years.

"Yeah, because it's the only part of Gym you even try at." Roxas chuckled as the teacher blew a whistle, signaling the beginning of class.

Everyone in our class each went up to the diving board one by one, jumping into the water and swimming gracefully to the surface.

"I'm not going in." I heard Zexion say once his turn came up.

"This is required, idiot." Larxene rolled her eyes.

"Can I do his for him?!?" I jumped at the chance of getting to go again.

"No, you really can't. He has to go himself." Vexen informed us with a sigh.

"Yeah, I had to go! He's going too." Axel grabbed Zexion by the arm and dragged him over to the diving board.

Zexion was clearly annoyed, but he did his job and went in.

And we waited.

"Geez, he's taking forever! You don't have to make things dramatic." Larxene scowled.

"Shut up." Roxas glared at her coldly, surprising a lot of us.

It was then that I came to a realization...

"Roxas! We need to go in." I darted over to Roxas, who was thinking what I was thinking.

"You don't have to." Xigbar chuckled.

"But they should." Lexaeus added to Xigbar's previous comment.

"Zexion is afraid of being suffocated... Would you count drowning as a part of that?" Xion fidgeted nervously with her hands.

Roxas and I ran over to the pool and jumped in, ignoring the continuing comments from our classmates.

"That was a close one." Roxas sighed of relief as he helped me walk Zexion over to the bench.

"Roxas!" Axel called for him across the Gym.
