Chapter 4
A few years after Serena’s death, Emily and Mike save Serena’s room as a baby room when they have children of their own. Emily and Mike always dreamed about having children together, but they were missing one thing. Marriage. So Mike wanted to wait for the perfect moment to propose to her but with all of the sadness and misery going around during their dating years Mike decided to wait until the sadness and misery died down. Emily kept Serena’s stuff she put some of her stuff in a coffin during the funeral, during that time it was really bad for Emily, sometimes she wished she never left her sisters side.
During that time, the Olympics happened Kevin and his team won first. Mike was so proud of Kev that day, he gave him a call to tell him he did great. Emily hangs out in her sister’s room from time to time just to see what it will look like once Mike and her have children of their own. Mike sometimes thinks about Emily as his bride, he bought an engagement ring a few years back, he never really knew when it was the right time to propose so he thought of something special.
“Hey Em” Emily turned around “Hey Mikey, what are you doing?” “Well, I thought of you recently and I just wanted to tell you this” Mike gets down on one knee. Emily’s eyes widen as she knows that he will ask her the question “Will you marry me Emily?” Emily immediately said “YES!” and threw her arms around him and kissed him all over his face. Mike was blushing as he put the ring on her finger. “Wow Mike, it’s gorgeous” “I had it safe for years, waiting for the perfect moment” Emily hugged him. Mike thought of what her sister might have felt for her. “Serena would be so happy for me” Mike kissed her forehead “I know she will”
