Nightman grumbled as he carefully walked into the kitchen, wanting to try and sneak in a cup of coffee but he stiffened when he heard a little sound. But he looked around before noticing a portal close, someone standing there before walking over and sat down against the cabinets as NightClue began to hum quietly. Nightman glances around before settling down beside her, gingerly placing a hand on her shoulder as an action to ground her.

He glanced around, trying to figure something out but just rubbed his thumb while he still had his hand on her shoulder while she still hummed.

It continued on for a few minutes before she fell quiet, and Nightman glanced over to her.

"You alright there, NightClue?" Nightman asked and she just hummed, looking away as she stood up.

"I'm fine." she said, Nightman standing up and brushed dust off his pants. He had a frown on his face but saw her open a portal, the much shorter girl waiting on the other side with a small expression of worry, but when she saw NightClue come in she gestured her over, and NightClue silently walked through the portal before she closed it behind her with a shadowed tentacle that slightly made Nightman render speechless.

"Morning there, squirt." NightDragon comments as she walks in before turning her head slightly towards him like an action of glancing her eyes towards him. "Squirt?"

Nightman blinked and nervously smiled at her, "I-I'm good! Just had to deal with something a few minutes ago. But it's all sorted."

NightDragon turns her head and even though her eyes were closed, Nightman still stiffened under her attention.

"If you say so then." NightDragon hums, taking a sip of soda.

"It's... It's about 6 in the morning. Why are you drinking soda?" Nightman asked, voice tired and strained.

"Then why are you drinking coffee?" she counters, making him sputter and cross his arms in an angry pout like a stubborn child, the much taller smirking.

"When do the others wake up?" Nightman asked.

"Nightglow would always wake up last, no doubt about that." NightDragon said as the two dissolved into a quiet conversation in the kitchen.
