AN: Alright guys, there's a picture of Blaire (Troian Bellisario) for you! So, I've had this chapter on my phone for a week, but I was on vacation with no wifi to post it, so sorry about that. More coming soon, I'm working on A LOT of stories right now, but this one is definitely the most fun to write, so I constantly find myself coming back to it. Anyways, without further ado, here's the next chapter of Playing With Fire!
"Lorenzo! We're here!" Callie sings into her phone as we walk up to the door. It's exactly 6:00 and, from the looks of his driveway, we're the first ones here. Lorenzo opens the door moments later with a big grin.
"Welcome to my humble abode," Loreno booms.
"Yeah, whatever. Where's the liquor?" Callie asks immediately.
"In the shed, as per usual. But you know the rules. First shot is taken together," he scolds.
"You really expect me to believe that you haven't taken a shot yet?" Callie grumbles with an eye roll.
"I am totally sober," Lorenzo defends himself, but his voice is just a little too squeaky.
"Bullshit. Give me the open bottle. Now," I demand. It takes a couple more minutes, but eventually, we get him to cave. He reaches up into a cabinet, pulls out an open bottle of Fireball, and sheepishly passes it to us. Callie goes to take a shot when the doorbell rings.
"One shot each, then put it away," Lorenzo instructs before walking away to answer it. We both take two shots like the rebels we are before putting it back and closing the cabinet.
"Starting without me, huh?" I giggle as strong arms wrap around me and Dillon's deep, sexy voice surrounds me.
"I would say I'm sorry, but I'm totally not," I tell him, turning to face him.
"Ouch. That one hurt," he teases, and I simply roll my eyes and lean up to kiss him.
"Whoa there, pda. Some of us are single, guys," Callie complains. I shoot her a quick appology, but remain in Dillon's arms as the rest of the party begins to assemble. First Dani and Mack, then a few of Lorenzo's other friends, and ariving right at 6:15 was none other than Hayley Sparks.
"Hi guys. Dillon," she greeted us all in a devilishly sweet tone. Dillon's arms tightened around me and I watched his eyes lose their sparkle, just like they always did around Haylee or Jake.
"Lorenzo," Dillon hissed in annoyance.
"Look man, Haylee has always been a part of these. Just because you two broke up doesn't mean she should have to miss out," Lorenzo mumbles, although his defense was clearly see through. Haylee paid her way into this kickback, there was no doubt about it.
"Yeah, Dillon. Why should I have to miss out because you ended our relationship for the new bitch," Haylee pouted. Her voice was still dripping honey, which only seemed to piss Dillon and myself off even more.
"Oh yeah, I definitely ended our relationship because of Blaire. It couldn't have been because you cheated on me with the biggest douche in school," Dillon hissed. His voice was ice cold, but there was no mistaking the sarcasm in it.
"Oh Dillon, I couldn't have cheated on you with you," Haylee giggled. "And if you're referring to Jake, I don't know why you hate him so much. You two used to be best friends."
"I am way too fucking sober to deal with this," Dillon growled before grabbing my arm and dragging me out of the kitchen and towards to shed.
"This is gonna be interesting," Callie mumbled as we stalked by, turning to follow us. The instant Dillon walked into the shed, he grabbed the closest bottle, opened it, and took a huge swig.
