I continued with the search till I finally found a business card that I was given by the man I met back then when I came with sister Isabella to the city, I could not express how happy I was"Mama, God is full of miracles.. I found help" I said
"How?" She asked
"There's this man I met previously when I came to the city with sister Isabella, he dropped his wallet and I took it back to him.. He gave me a lot of money and his card and said that I should call him whenever I needed help" I explained
"You trust people easily, don't you?" She asked
"Mama! I know this man, I've personally talked to him before.. he is a good man, he is rich and willing to help.." I clarified
"So, how will you pay back that huge amount?" She asked
"Mom I think you should get your treatment first and I'll figure out the way of paying him.. but I shall pay him I know" I assured and copied the number on the card on the phone that was in the room
"Hello! Is this Watson entreprises?" I asked
"Yes, how may I help you?" A huge voice replied on the other side
"I need to talk to Mr Watson please" I pleaded
"It is me" He responded
"Oh! Thank God. I am Oliva, we've met before.. I uhm... actually we met some days ago and you gave me your business card" I explained
"I give my business card to many people, introduce yourself more" He was straight and I became scared of him a bit
"Actually sir.. you dropped your wallet and I picked it some days ago, I'm that short young lady" I spoke hopelessly
"Okay, I remember. How are you?" He was calm
"I'm fine sir, thanks" I replied not knowing what to speak after
"So! How may I help you?" He was straight again
"Sir.. it's just that my mother is very sick and she needs an organ transplant.. The doctor said i..."
"You need money right?" He interfered
"Yes sir" I thanked that he took me straight to where I wanted to go
"How much?" He asked
" 80 million sir" I said courageously, "I'll return it sir don't worry.. even if I'll have to work day and night.. I promise"
"Okay, lets meet and talk about it in detail tomorrow" he said
"Thank you so much sir, I'll forever be grateful" I said and he hanged up
That night was indeed the happiest night of my life after a long time of tragedy. I was happy that mom was finally going to be saved
"Mom please hold on a little longer, just a little longer and I'll make things happen" I assured her
"I'm waiting dear.. I believe in you" she smiled at me, "But please be careful with these city men, they've already lost all the senses"she warned
"Worry out mamaa!!" I assured
The next day I called Mr Watson and he directed me where I had to meet him. I dressed a gold medium sized tight gown and the black hippo hills that sister Isabella bought for me and did some walking practise before I left because the heels were the difficult exam even than the meeting itself. I boarded a taxi and mentioned the hotel and we started the journey
"You must be very young by appearance but I bet you are loaded in your pockets" He started a conversation after a long silent drive
"Haha! Why?" I was curious
"No ordinary person goes to that hotel, only the minority.. you know.. the rich people" he explained
"Oh really! Well.. infact it is my first time today and don't be fooled by appearance, I mean.. I'm beautiful enough to look rich but I'm a hungry dog roaming around the streets striving for survival... I bet your life is even better than mine.." i made it clear
"Who believes that..?" he asked in total disbelief but I kept quiet till we arrived at the hotel.
It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.. my heart felt flashes of joy as I entered the hotel, I Oliva was finally getting along well with the city.
They say, sudden happiness comes before tragedy.. if I knew what was about to happen.. If I knew!!
