"Ooh, better you came back earlier.." shouted sister Jenipher, " Oliva, it is your duty to fetch water today.."
"But look sister, I'm so tired to fetch water.. the journey was so long.." I responded tiredly
"What do I care?, you shouldn't have gone.. you really have to go and fetch water before I get really pissed".. she shouted like she would swallow me alive
"Heey,heey..stop disturbing my princess... I'll go and fetch it for her.." sweet brother replied just as he always did
"You are spoiling her, mark my words" she said with her entire body shaking
"Am I not your sister..? Why are you so harsh sister Jenipher.." I cried
"You are our youngest sister, but mama and Abel are always giving you favours, look at how spoiled you are, you can't cook or do anything on your own and...."
"Eeeh! Enough!!... She is my precious sister, let me spoil her, I'll take all the risks when she is spoiled.." interfered brother Abel
He took his bicycle and picked cans ready to go to the river, he grabbed my hand and we started leaving but sister Jenipher never missed a chance to shout at us
"Hahhah heeey, so are you going to marry her??.. you just can never allow her to do anything on her own..." she shouted
On our way to the river...
"My darling, don't mind whatever Jenipher said, she is so desperate.." He said
"Brother, do rich people go to the river to fetch water?" I asked sadly
"No, rich people have water systems in their houses, they don't do laundry or cook or wash utensils.. they have servants all over.." he replied
"What?!!! They have servants??.. "I wondered, "So they do nothing, aren't the kids even spoiled than me?"
Brother Abel just smiled and said "You are not spoiled princess.."
We arrived at the river and started filling the cans..
"But brother, why are we not rich?" I asked with a light sad voice
He looked at me for a while.."We were born poo..."
"No, I need another reason" I enterfered.. "So, you mean it is a curse or something?, why are we not supposed to be rich? Why??" I started crying.
"Look here my princess.. I had a dream of becoming one of the richest men in the world, but so far, I see it is a mere dream that will never come to reality.." He said to me, "we should be leaving now princess.."
We started the journey back home and when we arrived, we found mother, sister Jenipher and sister Fransisca waiting for us to eat with them outside our small old house.
"Why did you take so long?" Sister Jenipher always being nosy, " mama, you see how Abel is spoiling Oliva??, don't you see?"
"Heeey, enough chaaa!!! How many times are you going to scold my daughter, my precious last born..? Well, let us spoil her, she deserves everything that you got and more.." concluded mother
We sat down to join the food quietly as the norms and rules are concerned. When we were in the middle of eating, infront of our house parked a mercedes benz and inside there was a lady who did not come out of the car but classically said..
"Hey Abel, can we speak a bit?"
Chaiiii!!! We were all puzzled to see how brother Abel knew that girl. Brother Abel stood up and went to her..
"Hey, hi Isabella!!!, is it really you?" Said brother Abel
"Can I park my car here?, I can't find a good space at our house" she said
"Aaah!!! No problem at all Bella.." he said, " Mama, can you believe it was Isabella all along??"
"Which Isabella?" Interferred sister Fransisca
"The Isabella I know? Or the other Isabella?" said sister Jenipher
"Hello.." Isabella greeted us with class and excitement
