As soon as I got out of the hotel, I let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding for a long time. I wanted to run as fast as possible but my legs wouldn't let me be, I decided to board a taxi and when I sat down I realized how tired and exhausted I was. The pain that had disappeared for like an hour came back with a huge impact this time.. my legs were hurting, my eyes were watering for no reason, my heart was in great pain and I had extraordinary thoughts about what I was going to do next.
Every blink of the eye came back with the bitter memories of my past. How did I end up like this? Am I really associated with bad luck? Tears wouldn't stop streaming down my face even though I tried hard to pretend strong.
The drive goes by so fast and I arrived at our hotel without noticing it. I paid for the drive with God knows how much money it was, I struggled to walk to our room with my trembling paining body till I managed to enter the room. My mother was sitting on the dressing table fixing her makeup.. thank God she was doing great..
"Mom.." I called her out and I realized I was running out of breath and fell down
"Oliva... my dear, is everything okay?" she followed me at the door
"Mom.." I called her again and I didn't know what happened next, I fainted
Oliva's mom POV
I was still in shock as I looked at my dying daughter lying on the floor wondering what happened to her.. Panic flashed my entire body and I gained strength that I didn't notice I held in for so long. I ran out of the room to ask for help from anyone I would see first and luckily I ran into a room attendant whose name tag read Alex. He went together with me into the room that my poor weak daughter was sleeping in, he helped me to carry her out and I took her to the hospital where she was directly taken to the ICU.
"What happened to her" a male doctor asked me with curiosity
"I don't know. She left this morning healthy and when she came back before saying anything she fell down and fainted" Tears were streaming on my face wondering what on earth happened to her
"Well, it seems something serious happened to her.. checking in details it shows that she has been ruined mercilessly, her heartbeat is weak together with her entire body" The doctor explained
"Raped?... did you say she was raped doctor??" I was screaming in tears
"Its worse that it looks like more than two men did" he dug deeper my scar with no mercy
"How..! how..!" I fell down crying wishing to wake up from the dream that seemed too real
"She will be fine soon, she needs a good rest at the moment because most of her energy has been drained" he calmed me down
"Doctor, I need to see my daughter.. I'm going to die.. I.." I ran out of breath and fell silent
After something like three hours I woke up in a room that seemed far similar like a hospital room... I was on the hospital bed and memories of my daughter's misfortune didn't give me a chance to breath, they kept on flooding my mind till I was about to suffocate again..
Machines started making alert sounds and I was unconscious again..
Oliva's POV
I opened my eyes after what looked like a year and found a beautiful nurse sitting next to me sleeping..
"How long have I been here?" I struggled to speak
"Oh! You are awake.." She smiled at me
"Yes.. how long have I been here?" I was struggling to sit still
"No.. don't strain yourself, you have spent only a day in here" she was calming me down
"Have you seen my mother?" I was curious
"I last saw her yesterday when she brought you here" she ensured
"She has not come back again?" I was suprised
"Yes.. I guess" she said
Worry flashed my entire body, I was so scared something bad might have happened to her because she was sick in the first place
"Please help me... call my mother and tell her I woke up safely.." I pleaded
"Your mother is doing great now, don't worry" the doctor interrupted our conversation
"Doctor... what happened to her..?" I was scared
"She is fine.. don't worry about her" he assured.. "how do you feel?"
"I feel better.." as soon as responded, memories from my past did not give me a chance to breath... my head started pounding so hard like someone was hitting it with an axe. I covered my ears and started screaming in pain, the pain that I had never had before my entire life.. I could feel my skull tearing apart, I couldn't handle the pain and fell unconscious again
