The corridors filled with light. Light traveling with immense speed, from the tips of angered wands. Death Eaters had filled Hogwarts, shooting down anyone in their ways. The students began fighting, fighting for their school, their lives.

It wasn't a game anymore. Voldemort wasn't just a rumor, and they were beginning to notice that.

I ran. Dashing through the constant spells, I never stopped, not even to collect air into my cold aching lungs.

Jumping over people laying lifeless on the floor of the school I called home, I still never stopped.

I had been instructed to meet at the astronomy tower. I knew this was were it all ended, where it all would play out.

It was almost to real to believe. Every second I was wishing it was all just a dream. I would wake up any minute now in my warm sheets, not a care in the world except for what I was going to eat that morning.

But, that wasn't the case. No, not at all.

The only thing I was worried about at this very moment, was Severus.

The Exasperation coursing through my veins, chilled every bone in my body.

I had finally came to a realization. I would do absolutely everything in my power to keep him safe. He deserved to be happy, I was willing to do anything to keep him happy.

He was all I thought about. Every hour, every minute, every second.. it was him. Nothing was going to get into my way of keeping him safe. Nothing.

"Severus." I ran up the Astronomy Tower.

"Y/N" Severus called from above the stairs.

He stood, tall and brooding. He had looked so pale, so tired. At this point everyone did, but it was different with him. Seeing him like this lit a fire within me, a fire that was bigger than ever before. I was willing to die for this man. He was my everything.

I ran into his warm embrace, his aroma filling the air. His heart beat steadily pounding, creating a beautiful melody I could listen to for hours. He held me tight, closer than ever before. At this moment we were one.

"Y/N. Listen to me, and listen closely." He pleaded, taking my face into his hands.

"I must show you, otherwise whatever happens tonight.. you might not be able to forgive me." His voice cracked with pain as he paused for a second.

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

My vision blurred into darkness. My world was spinning around me.

Suddenly I was in the Headmasters Office.I could hear Dumbledore and Severus speaking.

Was I in his mind?

I saw him. I had heard everything. He was showing me Dumbledore and his conversation.

From Dumbledore's hand, to the very upsetting topic of this night. I couldn't believe it, yet I did. Dumbledore never wanted for Draco to full fill this dreadful task. Not only did he believe he was to young, But he didn't see the Evil in Draco like the others did.

He asked Severus to do it instead. To kill him, himself. I could feel his pain, the pain he felt even thinking about the possible events of tonight.

My surroundings dropped, morphing into another.

What the?

I found myself standing in a dark looking house, a quiet conversation arising from down the hall. I cautiously walked down the narrow hall, stopping at a closed door.

Wormtail is here too? I looked as he stood, waiting outside suspiciously.

I walked through the door, Severus standing there with non other than Bellatrix Lestrange and Narcissa Malfoy.

"He's just a boy." Narcissa said, terror and despair filling her voice.

"I can't change the dark lords mind..But it might be possible for me to help Draco." His monotone voice filled the deathly quiet room.

Narcissa got up quickly, a slight look of hope.

"Severus-"

"Swear to it.... Make the unbreakable vow." Bellatrix interrupted.

There was a sudden pause as Bellatrix began walking towards Severus.

"Its just empty words. He'll give it his best effort when it matters most, he'll just slither back into his hole." Whispering,Bellatrix placed her head on his shoulder behind him.

He wasn't actually going to swear an unbreakable vow was he? With this kind of stuff going on, he wouldn't..Right?

A stiff, hardened, emotionless expression was on Severus's face.

"Coward" Bellatrix slowly walked away from his side.

Shit. Knowing Severus he was bound to do it now.

"Take out.. your wand"

No. I knew it.

Narcissa and Severus grabbed eachothers arms. Bellatrix took her wand and started to speak as a gold string wrapped around both of their forearms.

"Will you Severus Snape, Watch over Draco Malfoy as he attempts to full fill the Dark Lords wishes?" She whispered.

Severus looked dreadful, hurt. Not only was he given a task by Dumbledore to kill him himself, he had to do it now.. or else.

Bellatrix finished up the unbreakable vow, my surroundings vanishing again into darkness.

With my eyes closed, I could feel his touch once more.

"You have to-" I Whispered as he held my face gently.

"Now you see. I haven't any other choice, but to do it." Silence filled the area around us as I slowly opened my eyes.

He was so pale, but kept a subtle sad smile on his face. I brought my hand up, cupping his face. He melted into it, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath. I wasn't going anywhere.

I loved him more than anything.

"You go I go. WE go together." he smiled, turning his head and kissing the palm of my hand.

"Its to dangerous. Being with me will cause you danger y/n." He tucked a strand of hair behind my ear.

He wasn't expecting me to give up so easily right?

"No. I can't stay behind without you.. I wont.

I took his hand into mine. It was Me and Him. I wouldn't let him go alone. He tried to smile down at the sight of our hands, but failed to do so.

"I love you, and I'm not going anywhere."

He turned towards the door beside him in the staircase, taking a deep breath before opening it slightly.

"I Love you too." He quickly but quiet slung the door completely open, stepping in cautiously. And me following behind...
