Mina furiously comes to Jihyo's office slamming the door and comes to the room, thank God Jihyo has no visitor for today. Mina then closed the door.

"You! Stop interfering with my business, Park Jihyo. Let me deal with everything all by myself"

Mina points her finger at Jihyo who just ended her phone call and Jihyo can only freeze.

"I am sorry, what business?" Jihyo asks calmly.

"You know what I am talking about. Do take care of your own business before meddling with someone else, Park Jihyo!"

"Wow, you're now furious that Chaeyoung is leaving, right? Great. She made a wise decision"

"PARK JIHYO!" Mina yells at her.

"Look, Myoi Mina! We've been friends for God knows how long. You are my best friend no matter what, you don't really have that many people in your life and I am one of those. In your life right now, no one knows about your past, not even your family. But I know every single thing about you. And I was there on your darkest days"

Jihyo now stands up while talking to her.

"I was there when you were in love, I was there when she left you, I was there and saw how you stupidly turned your life upside down because of her, because of love, what an actual fuck!"

"You became someone else. You hurt so many people around you, you turned down the directing role and even Dean Jun begged you you avoided him, you even joined a university theatre club, people were so disappointed in you, but not me. I was supporting every decision you made, Minari"

"Until I felt that I didn't know you anymore, you took jobs out there, you got cast in Daehakro, you starred in a small play, cast for a small role in an indie movie, you didn't want to be an actress but all of sudden you switched your career like that out of panic, out of anxiety. You can't accept the fact that Chaeyoung left you"

Jihyo catches her breath. Mina didn't have room to interfere.

"And I was there with you, Mina when the doctor found out about the nodules. When they suggested you do the surgery, I was there holding your hands telling everything would be okay. I saw you every day in my life, grieving over her, and saw you do amicable things to yourself. And now you want me to leave you with your own business when you were about to throw away yourself again for the women who presumably ruined your life? And I have to just sit and watch? Is that what you mean?"

Mina starts to shed some tears.

"And remember Mina, I was the one to respond when they found your car at the basement, I was the first person that arrived at the hospital and saw the doctors brought you to life again, as much as you told me that you fell asleep there, we both know that wasn't the case. So don't get mad at me if I tried my best to ruin your relationship with Son Chaeyoung. I get it that you love her, she's your first love, I get that. But she's also the center of all this. The past years you were so fine, but she came and she wrecked your life all over again. I won't let that happen again. I can't see you through something like 15 years ago, Mina"

Jihyo was right. Chaeyoung was the center of all this. If Chaeyoung hadn't left her, Mina would never do bad things that would cause her singing career.

"So tell me again, she made you happy? Yeah maybe yeah, but it's all for a while, Mina. Only for a while. You have a family, you have Bang Chan and Sujin. I know Bang Chan enough that he would never leave you, he even came back for his family after you guys living in a shadow, he admitted that to the world"
