The next thing Mina could see after she opened her eyes is the ground, where her face landed on it. Cold hard ground. She took a deep breath and tried to look at her surroundings, but she couldn't move her neck, it brought so much pain even if she was only moving an inch. She pushed herself to look on her right side because she could only see the long street of Gangnam on her left. She looked at her right.

She gasped and shed a tear. She was helpless, she wanted to drag her body, but she was terribly in pain. She wanted to scream for help, but she couldn't even talk, she couldn't hear her own voice. She tried to reach her hand toward something she saw from far away. She could only cry. Mina is about 10 meters from the actual scene. Guess she was bouncing off when the truck hit the car.

Mina sheds another tear, Bang Chan is trapped between his big car who's now fallen, the door swung open and he's there trapped between that big hard metal material and the ground. The way Mina sees it, he doesn't move at all. Her head and her face were covered by the blood. Smoke and fog were released from the car. Mina couldn't see what happened to the truck yet. The only thing she could see is Bang Chan is trapped there.

Everything was fine, they just dropped Sujin off to the grandma's house. Mina planned to have a beer with Chan once they got home, perhaps they both needed it, they both needed to talk it out, all the problems they have up until now, all the unspoken things after all this time, which therapist they wanted to see, Mina prepared those talks on their way back home. Their home is only 20 minutes away from Chan's mom's house. They took their usual road, so this is unlikely to have happened. She tried to scream for help again, in an audible voice.

She's now seeing lights from afar. Now she can hear things. Before this, it was all quiet but she could hear sirens from afar. Help is on the way. Mina sees 4 paramedics run towards her and Chan bringing their tools and emergency stretcher. 2 Paramedics squat to check her vitals, blocking her view to Bang Chan. They asked for things, Mina only gave them small nods. Mina doesn't care what the paramedics are blabbering about, she could feel the cold stethoscope on the chest, they must be checking her on something. Mina couldn't see herself, she doesn't know what happens to her body yet.

Paramedics then carefully turn her body to the right, finally, she could see Chan's side, they're checking his vitals and tried to get him out of the car. Paramedics put her in the spinal board and make her wear the neck brace. They put an oxygen mask on her as well. They carry Mina to the stretcher and she's ready to be transported. Mina passed Chan's body, though it's hard to look down, Chan is now being pulled from the car and the paramedics still monitor him closely. Mina shed tears again but she can't do anything.

Paramedics transfer her with the ambulance, it was a short trip, Mina feels nothing but dizzy, and she can't look properly. Her eyes wanted to shut too many times. They arrive at the ER, people are running towards her inside the hospital, people scream and say things to her. She only gives nods or shakes her head if the doctors ask something. Mina doesn't know which hospital she's in. The Doctors start to cut her shirt, and bring her tools, Mina can see the ultrasonography machine beside her. They monitored Mina's vital signs.

Mina could hear sounds from the ER, doctors running around. Mina is looking around, Chan must be here. Judging by the sound, people are busy roaming around Chan. Chan is in very bad condition, he's in a very very bad condition. Chan's bed is across Mina's bed, though the curtain closes the view, they left a little space, Mina could see through that.

Chan's mother is here just outside the curtain, the nurses are with her so she couldn't see him inside while doctors are trying their best for him, she's crying and screaming her son's name. Mina's is crying, she can't make a sound, the oxygen mask is still in her mouth, she could only cry.
