Out of everyone she could've gotten stuck with it was HISOKA?
Like author rly said "NOPE YOU THOUGHT TF" or maybe she's just lazy, yea that.
"Hisoka.." Vera groaned to herself and he smirked at her.
"Are you just going to sit there or are you going to get up so we can play~?" He asked with a smile and she mentally cringed.
"That sounded so wrong in so many ways dude.. tony Lopez is shaking in his boots.." she shuttered as he grew an irk mark.
"Let's go.." he started walking ahead without her "put this on" he handed her some type of bracelet,
"If it's from you, I don't want it" she was about to throw it back before he cut her off.
"It's for the exam" he reminded and she made an 'oh' face slowly putting it on.
They walked for what seemed like forever to Vera, but was only 10 minutes. They soon walked up to a door that had writing on it.
"To pass this phase truth or dare" the sight said and they glanced at eachother.
"Im confused.." Vera blew a fuse as hisoka sighed questioning his choice of her being a toy and wondering why he can't just kill her right now..
"We have to play truth or dare. I'm guessing, if you lie or refuse to do a dare we are unable to proceed without repercussions." He looked at her as she was questioning her life choices.
"So, we pick dare?" She asked
"Why dare? Wouldn't you want the easy way out?" He seemed quite amused by her choice.
"I'm literally not afraid of death" She deadpanned and he nodded going along with her plan.
They both looked at their watches and clicked the left button 'dare' simultaneously.
The door in front of them opened revealing a shadow of a man in a room with candles.
Suddenly the candles lit up in a fashion/haunted way as a smirk dawned on hisoka's face.
Vera glanced at hisoka then at the man "seems like you guys have some history" she sweatdropped at the tension and began to walk to the corner "so, this seems like a you problem and-"
Hisoka stopped her by putting a hand on her head and keeping her next to him. She groaned and stood still sulking.
"Nice to see you again hisoka, and you brought a little friend~ it will be nice to destroy you both!" He yelled he had scars all over his face and was holding curved knives "I'll give you the same scars you once gave me!" He yelled throwing up his knives only for more to pop out.
"Dodge, I'm sure your quick enough for that" he said taunting Vera
"Of course I am! I am V E R A the bhaddest bhitch in the land- OW FUCK" she yelled as she didn't realize the fight already started and got a huge cut to her right abdomen.
She began to follow hisokas moves dodging, twisting, flipping.
"You cant dodge forever hisoka! You either little girl!" He yelled and he was right. All this moving was making Vera tired, and dizzy. Hisoka seemed to take notice of that.
"You'll definitely have to work on your stamina in the future kitten~" hisoka purred and she gagged her mind in the gutter.
The last time a sword came straight for her head but she quickly bent her back as it flew over her and quickly stood up as it started to come back around. She grabbed the sword by the handle and looked towards the sword owner who had one and hisoka had his other two.
"It took me 6 months to do that?! And a kid did it her first try!?" He yelled starting to charge forewords "BASTARDS!!"
He ran towards vera at quick speed and she was about to charge as well but hisoka stood in front of her and decapitated him himself.
"My apologies, but she can't die just yet" he smirked at the now lifeless body.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YET-"

"Vera #103 and Hisoka #44 were the first to pass the third phase. Time taken 6 hours and 37 minutes." The speaker announced as the two entered the small room.
"Welp, we're done!! Now I'm gonna pass out" Vera explained falling onto the floor.
Hisoka looked at her and rolled his eyes picking her up and sitting her up gently against the wall.
She sneezed and rubbed her eyes before going back to her peaceful sleeping.
Somewhere in another land, more like in another part of the tower:
"How do you think Vera is doing right now?" Gon asked Killua as they sat in their room waiting the 50 hours Leorio gambled away.
"Probably sleeping.." Killua rolled his eyes at the thought of his friend sleeping away while he is stuck in this small room "she's an idiot." He sighed.
"I feel like someone is dissing me right now hisoka.." Vera mumbled shooting up from her small nap.
"Anyways Wanna play cards? But take the Joker out... it reminds me of you.." she shivered at the thought and he narrowed his eyes questioning his life choices.
"Sure."
