GONS POV [LATER] Gon sat up frantically from a bed in the nurses office breathing heavily.
Satotz, in the chair next to him, closed his book making a noise catching Gon's attention.
"Great, your awake." Satotz sat crossed legged with a hidden smile underneath his mustache ;).
"Where am I?" Gon asked
"In a waiting room next to the final phase arena." Satotz informed as he placed his book on the table next to him.
Gon looked around the room as Satotz moved his chair closer to Gon's. He looked down at his arm remembering what had happened during his time at the final phase.
"Your arm will be fine. The break was clean, in fact it will be stronger once healed" Satotz told him with a little cheer in his voice.
The sound of snores made Gon look ahead at the person sleeping on the couch. Rin.
Satotz took note of his confusion and decided to explain "after the incident at the final phase, this young man here refused to leave your side whatsoever. He was even the one who carried you here."
Gon looked at Rin a smile not failing to appear on his face until it had hit him. "What happened after I was knocked out?" Gon asked honestly curious.
"Congrats on your win!" Satotz ignored his question reaching out his hand to shake Gon's own.
Gon paused "Satotz-San I-"
"You can't." He took Gon's hand and made him shake his own "just as someone who has failed can no longer pass. One who has passed can no longer fail. What you make of it is entirely up to you" he looked over towards the sleeping Rin who looked mad comfy on his couch wishing Satotz himself was sleep just like that "if you feel your not qualified, you may refrain from using your license even destroy it. Sell it, it's up to you. However you have passed and can no longer retake it."
Gon looked at him with an unreadable expression as he was handed his license that was in a binder with the hunter logo. It was small but it meant a lot to Gon. It's took him one step closer to being with his dad.
