I take a seat next to Draco for my defense against the dark arts class, he's too busy watching a paper bird fly around room to notice.
"You can't sit there"
He says coldly.
"I can't sit here? Okay then"
I say before grabbing my books.
Draco's attention shifts from the paper bird to me in a millisecond.
"Bye"
I said as I stood up.
"I didn't mean you"
He groaned as he pulled me back into my seat.
My eyes snap towards the burnt paper bird as I hear people turn silent. My attention then shifts to a professor with pink clothing on, her hair was short and neatly curled.
"Good morning, children"
She says, making everybody turn around.
"Ordinary Wizarding Level Examinations"
She beams, my eyes travel as she walks to the front.
"O-W-L-S, More commonly know as OWLS"
She continues with a fake sweet tone.
"Study hard and you will be rewarded"
She says, making me lose interest in her words. She wasn't the first professor to say that.
I begin to tune out her overly sweet worded words out, drawing a small heart onto the table. I stop when a book almost slams onto my fingers. I lift up my head as I listen to the new professor speak to Hermione about the 'spells' that we aren't going to learn.
"We're not going to use magic?"
Ron asks.
The professor that I already started to dislike began to defend the reasoning as to why were not using it. I rest my chin into my hands as I listen to her scold Harry about raising hands.
I sigh in frustration, the professor glares at me for a second before speaking again. Boredom kicks in so I begin to draw onto the table again, adding on to the doodled heart. I halfheartedly listen to the bickering that is exchanged between the professor and Harry. Harry mentions Voldemort, making everybody go silent.
I watch the professor's smile tremble, it amused me how she masked her temper.
I stare at Draco who is also resting his face onto his hand, except that he is paying attention to her words. He looks at me with a smile for a brief second before my head jolts up when she says,
"Detention, Mr.Potter and Ms.Saloux"
I scrunch up my face in confusion.
"You were doodling on the desk, Ms.Saloux"
The smug professor adds, answering my question.
"So according to you, Cedric Diggory dropped dead of his own record?"
I hear Harry shout, making me stir in my seat uncomfortably.
"Cedric Diggory's death was a tragic accident"
The professor argues.
"It was murder, Voldemort killed him, you must know that"
Harry argues back.
"Enough!"
The professor shouts, causing me to flinch at her high pitch shriek.
"See me later, Mr potter. My office"
